Quick question, I really want to jump into getting all the Autobot Masterpieces from the past few years, what's the best way to do that? Just buy them off BBTS or something? I only got Prime several years ago and then stopped but now I want to start up again since there's a good amount released. Thanks for any advice.

I didn't even know about these 3rd party manufacturers, some of them are done really well.

Can't buy into that horse**** in that article of "MP-25 is something that I know, but I can't say what it is, neener".

I'm still guessing Ironhide is next after MP-25 tracks. Road Rage redeco, not sure what else can be redeco'd? Ghost Sideswipe? lol

Yeah, it's all very exciting until you get to the source and he's doing some variant of the "he tell me" routine. It was amusing to read the different theories that emerged though, some of which I put in my previous post.

There's a few other redecos that could be done but some of them are a bit obscure as they'd be based on eHobby Exclusives. The most obvious one is blue Bluestreak.

In the meantime here's something that is definitely happening,

DX09 narrowly missed the mark with Invisible and whilst not getting the aesthetic of all 3 modes right proved that a decent MP style Astrotrain is doable so I'll be intrested to see this attempt at Hot Rod.

Hey 3rd parties--More 84-85 figures, please. Don't get sidetracked into the post-85 crap. Thanks.

I would go eBay. BBTS has some pretty jacked up prices. But tread with some caution if you only want legit figures. Several of the MPs on eBay are (high quality) bootlegs, like this:

So, you don't like speculative talk and rumors, yet you are speculating about the rumors and speculation? #Brilliant

I don't know why you are singling out thecorsair as being the only person bored of unsubstantiated speculation. According to the rumours MP25 was deffo, Megatron, then Sunstreaker, then Mirage, then Ironhide and now it's Tracks.

A lot of us are fed up of the "he tell me" rumours from faceless posters and just want to wait until pics or a preoder goes up before we give it any credence. thecorsair was commenting on a statement from a Toy show, which has a bit more weight to it. Very different.

Thanks for the advice Karamazov! Yeah, after reading about 3rd party stuff I'm pretty scared to order off anyone/anyplace I don't know for fear of getting knock offs. I guess I'll do some research then and try to find some reputable sellers.

Thanks again

If you only want legit figures, BBTS is a good place to order from. Also Robot Kingdom, and Hobby Link Japan (if you want to do pre-orders for future releases). I've been going with Hobby Link for awhile now, as you can get figures for probably 20-30% less than BBTS, even factoring in shipping from overseas. Plus, you'll get them more quickly most of the time.

I'll have to start doing that then. That's a pretty good discount amount. Yeah, I definitely want legit ones so that's my main concern. Thanks again.

Please play nice, everyone.

Hey thanks! The MP collection I have is in the lower shelf behind me so is out of view! My 7yr old son thought it was hilarious when he was taking the pic for me. He loves G1 Megatron thanks to me lol :)

Wow that looks amazing...is it a statue? and whats the figure between him and prime?

That would be Alpha Trion. They are all made by Fewture, no transformable, but articulated TF's. Unicron' head could be considered a Bust of some sort.

I wanted to show my proud collection. It's going to be a great and at the same time expensive year for Transformers collectors.

Hopefully it's better than the iGear effort (not that it was a bad effort really)

Still hoping the rumours about MP-26 are true & that he is indeed coming officially

If not then I reckon that one would do
