A favorite figure of mine,diggin those stickers you applied.

Love me some Reprolabels. Sometimes I will buy a Transformer simply because it has a really cool Reprolabels set.

Yeah, Reprolabels can really make the figure in some cases. I remember being underwhelmed with the old Alternators Jazz (Meister) figure, until you apply the reprolabels, and then he was a very awesome update to a classic character.

If XTransbots deliver a figure with great build quality and paint apps Appolyon will be an incredible bargain for £100.

The design is fantastic, it's now down to whether the factory does their job properly and doesn't half ass any of the molding, painting or assembly.

I am so on the fence for him...I want him so bad but still questionable QC

Having read what Appolyon's designer has had to say I think XTransbots are well aware that they have everything riding on the success of the toy.

Delaying the release in order to make further QC tests with the factory also shows they're taking it seriously so I'm taking a gamble, Kapow have already sold out of their allocation and if it's a hit secondary market prices will go through the roof.

That Ironhide is 3rd party. The TFW member that confirmed this isn't someone who goes in for all the "he tell me" BS and is known to be close to several different groups.

Still available on Masterforce for £85 & Transbridge for £100 so I might see & jump in too.

The designer also mentioned that Appolyon took him 6 months whilst also working a full time job and that he's also done the following,

Krank, Stax & Ollie for XTB

Transistor for KFC

Krank & Stax were meh but the others are decent. Ollie's issues were purely to do with the factory and not the design and Transistor is an awesome rendition of Blaster that I would have bought if they hadn't used the inaccurate metallic red.

Transistor (Blaster) is a great figure! Slap repro Autobot symbol on it and it's just as good as an MP can be

The 1569:0 on the front of the tank references this,


DX09's Astrotrain isn't perfect, but it gets a lot of things right and proves the character can be done well in MP scale so if their take on Blitzwing does nothing else, it'll give the other 3rd parties some pointers on how to do it better.

Here's my review of the Sentinel Transformers Optimus Prime pen. I was little surprised at the small size for the price, but at least the articulation is awesome all round. Pretty expensive though!
