Thanks a lot guys, esp to Craw for the link! I figure out how to transform megatron into his alt form, but had difficulty in changing him back to vehicle form. Nearly drive me nuts :))

Awesome!!!!!!

Well a crap load of paint and work goes into painting up a Transformer. Considering some artists on this board charge $60 for just a head repaint, I think its a fair price to ask. A 1/6 head is couple inches by a couple inches, painting up an entire Transformer is considerably much more work, and paint.

I would never pay that much, NEVER, but its hard to put a price on someones talent.

does the repaint on transformers hold up during the transforming process? i would think it would peel or scrape off easy.

I dont know for sure, but I would be afraid to transform it, I wouldnt trust the paint to hold up.Though I never really transform any of my Transformers. They go in robot mode and stay there.

I see what you're saying King, but I paint these guys up, like the movie ones, and it gets much easier to do repaints as you do more. I remember when I first started, and found it hard to repaint Transformers, but now I find them quite easy to repaint. So, with the way it was painted, you can tell that this guy is almost, or is a pro. That means that it must be quite easy for this guy to crank them out. pretty much what I'm trying to say is that yeah, it is a lot of work, but after painting Transformers many times it seems to become less work, but not less time.

Yes, you can never put a price on someone's talent.

It does, it just depends on how the person seals them and what not. I know whenever I do repaints for them I transform them to see where the paint is coming off and put a super glue sheild over that spot after repainting the scratch. Tha really protects the paint work.
