I own Guttur - Paint is fantastic but lots of little QC issues hold him back. I'd prefer if we had FT's engineering/designs and Gigapowers paint apps on one figure. But hey, what can you do? I'll probably get Sever and dump Guttur eventually.

My most anticipated line up at the moment, they were always firm faves of mine back in the day & having them MP scale at last is going to be awesome.

Neil

I agree. I wasn't sure if I'd ever see MP scale versions, but thankfully FT decided to go with them. I'm impressed with their dinobots so I'm sure they'll do the Insecticons right.

Got my Apollyon today and couldn't be happier.

Paint and joints are all good and he fills a MASSIVE hole in my MP collection.
I'll probably never transform him, but the bot mode looks so good I don't care :wink1:

Crappy phone pic as I don't have my camera at the moment, but will take some better pics when I get it back.

Glad yours arrived with no issues.

I'm still waiting for some kind of shipping confirmation on mine but it was from the same dealer so it can't be far off now.

Be nice to add him and the FT Insecticons to my Decepticon shelf.

Hope yours comes soon mate :)

Insecticons and Reflector :hi5:

Bob

Thanks! :hi5:

I've never really had a preference for one faction over the other but I'm quite excited to be getting some more Decepticons, particularly Megatron who's the biggest gap in the post-MP10 rebooted line.

Too bad Takara don't feel there's any money in Decepticons but that's good for Fans Toys and XTransbots who'll be getting my cash for Insecticons, Reflector, Cyclonus & Scourge.

dalianj said a while ago that there'd be 2 or 3 reveals this month. We've had 2 so I'm guessing the last one will be Kickback.

karamazov80,
Congrats!, hope yours has no issues.

What do you think about this guy? I can pick him up on Wednesday. I'm not that knowledgeable about 3rd party so any help would be good.

Be careful getting this figure, a lot of people are complaining about the screws used in the hips which can cause the plastic to break (and many have). Gigapower is addressing this issue but the QC issues have been very pronounced on this figure. The design on the other hand, looks incredible! Best designed Snarl to date IMHO...

No issues on mine.

An absolute BEAST, the kind you send to fight the likes of Devastator.

Can't wait for the other Gigasaurs...

Got an Apollyon sized package from TFS-Express this morning :)

No QC issues apart from the shoulders needing some nail polish :yess:

After being used to handling FT figures and one of the HT diecast Iron Man figures Apollyon does feel a bit lightweight but the only bits that feel fragile are some of the thinner panels and the fingers on the hands but provided you take care you shouldn't have any issues.

One other area that may require a bit of caution is the neck as I've seen a couple of pics from people that somehow managed to tear the head off but I am convinced those incidents occurred due to mistreating it because there's no way that can happen if you take your time and pay attention to the instructions.

Articulation seems fine, it does the poses I need it to and the general aesthetic is as good as anything out there at the moment.

Maybe someone else could improve the kibble on the inner legs so there weren't those little flappy bits that don't fold away properly but beyond that there's not really much else that can be improved without removing the transformation altogether.

The orange plug on the gun barrel popped out very easily on mine, I didn't even need any pliers or anything. I haven't tried the one on the silencer as I probably won't bother removing it from the packaging as I won't be transforming the figure.

Of the accessories I've tried the helmet and the pistol are nice enough, but I would have swapped all the little bits for another face sculpt and a Kremzeek.

Overall I'm very happy with the figure especially at the price I paid....£100 well spent.
