That headsculpt is seriously good. And the rest of the figure isn't bad either.
If XTB can further improve the build quality from Apollyon they can become a serious contender to Fans Toys because their designer is already on a par.

I got Appolyon and just opened him. My first impression is that he does feel a bit on the cheap side. Much more so than the official MP figures. But could be worse. I have a couple of noteworthy issues with mine, as well. The main one is that the "eyebrows" on mine are pretty beat up looking. Then, there are these little thin tabs on his inner calves, and unless you keep his legs sitting straight (and they actually need to sit at an angle for him to stand well) one side is so loose it keeps swinging open. Also some minor scratches here or there, but nothing too serious. I'll probably contact BBTS about the head. Beautiful figure apart from that, though.

That looks like quite an annoying paint defect, mainly because of where it is. Hope they exchange it for you. My Apollyon has some bubbling in the paint but luckily it's on the back of the foot so you'd never notice it. I also had the loose kibble on the inner leg. Just unscrew it from the leg and the whole piece comes off, although that doesn't help much if you want to transform him!

in Insecticon news Kapow Toys have opened up pre-orders for Shrapnel.
Just their Deposit scheme at the moment but they think price will be roughly around £60 so not too shabby

BBTS customer service guy tells me that "this is what they all look like," so I can't get a replacement head, but would have to send back the entire figure for a refund. . .I'll have to think about it. But I hate it when they tell me something that I know is ******** as an excuse not to replace it 
I would prefer the honest response of "we just don't replace items for issues like this." SSC does this all the time. The worst is when they told me HT Luke's pants were hand made, and that's why they had a stain in them.

Did you try contacting Xtransbots / KFC directly through Facebook? Maybe they could help facilitate sending replacement parts to BBTS, who then can pass them along affected customers?

I doubt they would go through all that rigmarole for a single part, when the truth is it isn't going to affect everyone (I haven't seen a pic of this guy yet with this issue). I guess it can't ask to see if they will replace the head instead, though.

I just bought the MX-I Megatron Leader Apollyon from over seas I hope he looks good. man this is my first transformers in years since the days of the old reissue`s. I also got grimlock and wheeljack and smokescreen coming. I am going to work on the dinobots since I always loved them when I was a kid. me grimlock kick butt

I decided to with the Giga Power Guttur after all. And wasn't disappointed at all. The art box and the styrofoam in general are o.k. You kind of get a cheap vibe but maybe that because it's a 3rd party distributor. The transformation is very easy. It took less than 10 minutes to finish but I did use the video review instead of the instructions. I was still very careful with the joints, even though he's got a good weight to him, I wasn't really sure with the quality because it is a 3rd party after all. But over all its sturdy enough to handle. Doesn't really tower over the MP Grimlock in Dino mode but is really big next to him in robot mode. And is I think about to scale with what a dinobot should be next to the MP-10 Optimus. You get no batteries to light up the gun and sword, that would have been a nice but when I go the store I can pick some up. No big beal.H He also comes with extra flames pieces for his feet but I'm never really going to use them but they are cool looking. If I had already started with the Fan Toys line it would have certainly been harder to go with this guy. The Fan Toys Sever is very good too. But I like the over all look of Guttur. My only real gripe is that "gold" paint job could have been a little brighter.
