So I got Masterpiece MP-10 Optimus Prime a month ago and didn't have an opportunity to take photos until today. What an amazing, incredible toy. Just so well made and a pure joy to pose and transform. Not only is he the best Transformer I've ever had, but arguably the best toy I've ever had. Granted, there are some QC issues (scuffed paint on one smokestack, one leg being a ***** to collapse) that are disappointing for a $189 figure, but still an amazing piece. Can't wait for Ironhide this winter!

I FREAKING LOVE THOSE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clap:clap:clap:thud:

Those are fantastic & I could look at them all day

So well done & great to see something different.

With 2 pictures my Interest in X-transbots Cyclonus and Scourge has evaporated............... :(

Still look good but the scale feels way out of whack !

Bob

I still really like the look of them but I never realised that Cyclonus was SO big, he looks massive & oversized but looking at scale seems like it should be right.

I think it's the angle but to me it also looks like that Scourge hasn't balanced properly & fallen over.

I think they are really good but I do think they are a bit overpriced, if these were Fans Toys Cars price (Say £60 / $90 ish) then they would be insta buys but at the price they want in the UK at £100 each they are just too much when I'd be able to use the money for almost double the amount of figures from FT or the even Takara

I agree. I have that same mp-10 I painted in his eyes no he looks even better. maybe in a few months I can go back to getting a few more of these mp`s I love this style. wish they looked this good 30 something years ago

They're all Voyager. Most people here are probably either strictly masterpiece collectors or waiting for the Takara-Tomy version, but people sure seem to love him in the "appreciation" thread over at tfw2005.

Thanks, yeah I love all transformers. Majority of them, but I searched for comparison and the takara looks like the one with the more pros vs cons. But I could live with the hasbro version. Glad I didn't buy any third party devastator.

Excellent shots

Great post and amazing posing... a change from the up and down stiff standing you usually see.

Thanks, fellas!

Jumped on that $60 Starscream pre-order this morning. MP-11 is by far my least favorite masterpiece mold, but what can you do? Gotta have a Starscream in the collection.

Bad part is that TRU was selling it with a "limit of 5 items per customer." Now, stupid scalpers got their greasy mitts on 5 of them just to sell for a profit! Feel bad for the people that missed out on the couple hours it was up for preorder. Hopefully they will get more instock (probably for a bumped up price).

I don't consider it scalping if a figure is made available to a mass audience as a non-exclusive release. Particularly one that is a U.S. re-release of something that has been available essentially for retail for a long time. But, I also know TRU will mark this one up 10-20% once it becomes available again, so sucks for those who missed out. Glad I got a pre-order in now.

I'll just wait for ebay. Toysrus has a standard shipping rate for hawaii, $30 minimum, even if it's a small toy.

Masterpiece bluestreak is cheaper for me too on ebay.

I missed the pre order!!!!!! :gah: **** ****** ****** ******

I better find this at Toysrus. I have been holding off on that $200 takara one, for $60 it is a steal and I save $140.

So this will release on October 1st, really hope when it is off the truck it will be held for me at my local toysrus

yeah i need all three of the seekers still might get them in a few months. should never got into this line :lol. star wars 1/6 is hard enough to keep up with
