My brother did the color swap on his Perceptor. Said it was a pain, but worth it. I'm really liking the animated look......

More (better) pics of Masterpiece Ironhide. Looking better all the time. Even with the complaints people have, he's still the most cartoon-accurate Ironhide money can buy.

Damn that does look a lot better :thud:

Now if got a tricky decision, keep hold of my Hasbro version or upgrade to this.

He looks amazing!!!

I already have the MP-03 version which I had been perfectly happy with (Haven't upgraded to any of the MP11 seekers as I do feel the MP-03 was more than sufficient) but as Tcrakcer was my favourite seeker (first one I owned as a kid so holds a special place for me) I think I will HAVE to get this one.

Liking the new shots of Ironhide as well, he looks damn near spot on for me.

so on ironhide... i haven't been following too closely.

does anyone know if they have it mis transformed in those pix? those hip panels looks SOOO wrong! and the big open gap above them on his waist area looks empty and weird. it looks like those panels should be rotated 90 degrees and will get them off his hips and up to cover that void area...

super quick chop to show what i'm talking about... see this looks normal and 1000 times better. which makes me wonder if something was off w/ transformation...

Alright I can complete my seeker collection now with the release of the Thundercracker upgrade. Since they got the basic molds for the seekers, I wonder if Takara has the coneheads not far behind.

I wonder if that Thundercracker will cost as much as the ripoff Skywarp because of it being an "Different" version.

No matter, bought. Will keep the Hasbro one in vehicle mode.

Thundercracker is apparently some kind of limited release via TakaraTomy Mall, which means that if the UK importers get some they'll mark it up to silly prices.

I think the figure looks good, and it would fill a gap in my collection, but if it's £140 or so like Skywarp was I'm not going to bother because I would prefer to use that money towards something new.

Some people say repaints are a waste of time etc. I can understand that sentiment, but when the repaint is this frickin gorgeous, who gives a ****!! LOL!!! This golden repaint for Bumblebee is outstanding!!! Review video coming soon so subscribe to the Kool Kollectibles YouTube channel for my upcoming review :)

There is some mistranformation with the figure (there's a part missing under the belly) but the hip panels are correct. You're not the first person to suggest they should have made those panels fold up to fill in the sides, but I think people are overlooking the fact that doing so would have completely limited any possible torso articulation.

Compared to the kibble-tastic MP-11 Seeker mold, I'd say Ironhide here is really, really clean. I'm willing to overlook the hip panels for that reason :D
