The other problem is that Hasbro likes to release new and better versions of the characters after you've already bought them...

By the way, there are rumblings of transformers Mighty Muggs. I'm not sure how they would look, but I imagine I would really like them.

Not an offical Mugg but you get the idea.

Thnx! I'd been tempted to get a few of these for a while and the other day AFX had 4 of them on sale on the cheap. I figured I'd get a couple others that I wanted plus I'm getting a couple more that are SDCC Ex.

If you like the G1 busts then you'd better buy them now. Someone who works for Diamond has said that sales have been awful on the busts and that the line will probably be canceled, which is why you got such a good deal on them. There are still about 15 busts sculpted that haven't been released yet and a few that haven't been even announced along with 3-5 statues. Hopefully Diamond will comment on the rumors at SDCC.

Really? Yeah, I may have to get a few more of them then. May have to ask about the lines life line at SDCC if the end is near or possibly near.

They look like the Transfomers I watched as a kid. I don't get why you can't get that.

IMO: Odd proportions that are even weirder then anything seen with Dreamwave, bad sculpting, unposeable, etc etc. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks like that...This is the first place I've seen that has some love for these things.

Proportions look fine to me as does the sculpting. As far as being poseable you do realize they're busts and you don't pose those? :lol I'm sure there are many a Transformers Fanboy that doesn't like them.

First place = :woo

No, you were right. The Tankor figure is by far the weakest of the 3 and I regret buying him.

If I don't remember a character from A) the original comic from '84 or the B) original tv show then I won't buy him. Tankor fits into that category---- now Prowl (one of my all-time favourites... I always likened him to Spock) and Sunstreaker-- those are CORE characters and need to be acquired.

I've got that Skyfire/Jetfire.

I remember Octane... a peripheral character at best and not one that I really associate with my core G1 characters. Still a pass from me.

Ideally I'd like to recreate the Autobots ARK bridge just as they've cleared the asteroids and the Decepticons have attacked--- those are the Transformers in this Classics line that I'm truly gunning for.:banana
