I'm really happy we are seeing Hot Rodimus in box production photos already. I mean IronHide's time line for a January shipping release was on schedule. I feel 2016 will be a great year for MP collectors. I have them all pre ordered, but Shockwave is the main figure I'm waiting to have in hand.

yeah he's def a big mofo! your pix finally pushed me over the edge to pick him up! really cool in combined mode! love how big he is... and for $125 i paid for the set... really couldn't beat the price.

i like a couple of the add-on sets that are coming out... one thing i hated was the cheesy hand on such a large figure...
so i made my own!

Those articulated hands look pretty nice. Two things I believe Takara-Tomy could have done to really up the display options of Devastator would have been to put the head on a ball joint and throw in an interchangeable open-mouth like they've done with some of their masterpiece figures.

That's just like the G1 toy transformation from the bottom!

TT is killing it this year, and it's only starting!

Can't wait!

Yeah that's pretty clever. Hopefully some robot mode pics surface soon.

Agreed, it's great to see them actually hitting their release dates! Hopefully that and releasing a new mold every month continues to be a trend all through 2016.

Anything short of an MP Jazz coming out this year, I just don't see how I'll love an Autobot car more than I do "Sphinx" already.

Sphinx is definitely one of the better-looking 3rd party options! They did a very nice job.

Here's the first english video review of Masterpiece Ironhide. Rather poor video quality but an outstanding rave view and he does an excellent job of covering absoultely everything in a relatively short amount of time.

Sphinx was one of my top 3 figures last year, it looks like a Hasui era carbot, but with better build quality.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how MMC's Backdraft (Inferno) turns out as if the build quality and aesthetic matches Sphinx it should be another awesome figure.

I think there's just as much chance of a completely new Rodimus that is just that character, especially with the new Hot Rod already on the way.

Got my shipping notice from The Chosen Prime for MP-27 Masterpiece Ironhide!

It amazes me how fast the domestic stores get these things in stock after their release in Japan. There are people who ordered directly from the Japanese stores who are still waiting for shipping notices and meanwhile all the major stores here already list him in stock and ready to ship. The street date for release in Japan was only yesterday!

It's a big, big departure for me compared to purchasing Hot Toys figures; I'm so used to the in-hand photos hitting and then waiting 2-3 months before Sideshow ever gets around to distributing the damn things!

The latest batch of pics are amazing, but I've stopped looking at them because I want to experience it first hand.

I really enjoy supporting captured pray, but man, they are always the last to get their stock, I swear.
