People always ask why I bother getting the TF Masterpiece Collector Coins. Not only do I think they're great, but it's so I can do this in my spare time lol

Shoulder fix done! Luckily it's only a 5 min job to swap the pieces around, but it certainly does make the shoulder look nicer by hiding the ratchet joint. Glad they fixed the incorrect assembly for the release of MP-30!

MMC have looked at the various Diaclone packaging as well as the G1 art from Studio OX and have come up with probably the nicest packaging for 3rd party MP figures.

I also really like what they did with their Ravage packaging by making it a proper cassette box and the instructions as the inlay.

I watched the first 6 episodes of Beast Wars this evening and thought it was great, my favorite characters at this stage are Rattrap and Dinobot.

Thanks for posting! :hi5:

It's a beautiful-looking figure, I might not even have to upgrade with Takara's Inferno.

I like BadCube's, not so much a fan of Fans Toys'.

What did you do? And was the issue the exposure of the joint, or something else as well? Thanks!

Yes, it's swapping out the little ratchet piece within the shoulders. Looks like they assembled it on the wrong arms. Once you change it over, the little piece covers the ratchet teeth from the above view, and also raises the shoulders to be in line with the top of the chest.

I just did the mod, and actually followed another Youtube video that said to first remove the arm from the body, and then to take the shoulder piece apart, and that worked very smoothly. It only took me about 10-15 minutes. There is a subtle, but noticeable improvement in him now.

Watch the first minute of the video I posted above. You can see the serrated little ratchet gear parts when you look at the top of the shoulder. I'm guessing every Ironhide has this issue.

I don´t give a **** about this.

This is from guys who nitpick on EVERYTHING instead of enjoying hownicely they´re already crafted.
. Ironhide looks so great and there is a REAL danger of loosing little parts.
I will keep mine as is.

DX9 Blitzwing color prototype,

It doesn't look as bloated as the unpainted prototype and the way the kibble of the alt modes is distributed looks very clean.
although the positioning of the jet nosecone on the robot hips is sure to cause some complaints.

No alt mode pics yet.
