did you get the classics ramjet yet? he is my favorite decepticon jet so far. hoping for a thrust in the future.

Yup, got him when he first came out. I was considering buying the Henkei version, but to be honest, I like the Hasbro classics version more.

We definitely need a Thrust in the future. I'd also like to get a Masterpiece Ramjet one day... that would be a good conehead for them to make.

Different subject, I really like Silverbolt... simple transformation, but his robot mode is reaaallly cool. Even has light up green eyes upon transformation.

i got the henkei version. pretty cool. he has chrome thrusters. i passed on silverbolt for now. i cant wait for powerglide though. he looks pretty damn cool.

yeah, we're reverse. i passed on powerglide today... just not impressed with him really. silverbolt looks more G1ish to me, while powerglide looks a little too modern.

knowing me though, i'll get him sometime anyway

I also got Henkei Ramjet recently and I think he looks much better in jet mode but the Classics version is slightly better in robot mode.

Yes, that's what I'm hoping for as well...but the Henkei versions aren't much more affordable. I think BBTS is offering Thundercracker for $77.

Because, as I understand it, it's only sold at a certain chain of stores in Japan. It's actually $74.99, but I'm not buying it.

I recently saw a set of casts of Botcon Thrust's wings and tailfins on ebay so if Takara don't release an Exclusive version I'll see if I can get some of those and make a custom using an extra Ramjet.
As for the final Conehead I think Takara could improve on the Botcon Dirge if they tooled a new set of wings that were more like the G1 version.

I've been tempted to pick up the new Universe figures but I'm going to hold out for the Henkei versions.

If anyone cares, Target has the exclusive Deep Space Starscream (metallic silver movie Starscream repaint) on clearance for $4.98. (Not all Targets will necessarily have it marked down all the way, however, so check the price). I think it's the best incarnation of movie Starscream.

The only Henkei versions I think i'll pick up of the Universe stuff will probably be the cars (Prowl, Sunstreaker, etc).

Nice review. I've seen a bit of criticism of Silverbolt's simplistic transformation on the TF sites and while I prefer the Henkei version's color scheme I think either version of the mold looks really nice in both modes and the transformation sound effect is a cool addition.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, while his transformation is really simple (which I think I actually laughed about in the vid), his robot mode just kicks ass. Great mold, and really good face/head.
