Knowing that a new OP mold is eventually coming out, I just sold all my MP-10 variants. All of them.
Ebay will be flooded once MP Prime V3 is announced, and knowing how he sells, all those variants will be remade.

Honestly, these two pieces are killer. Well made, good looking, and about the best articulation I've seen in Legends-classed figures. Only looking at Booster Spear in this half, but Spin Vulture is coming up shortly as well as War giant in combined mode. Check out a few pics from the gallery portion:

Can anybody tell me if the Power of the Primes Optimus is decent and will it fit in line with the height of the Masterpice collection?
I’m thinking of picking up a couple of my favorite autobots and decepticons but wanted to know if this was too small. Thanks in advance

I think size wise it's right about with MP-10. I don't own it but I thought I saw pics and it's about 9" which would only put it a quarter inch smaller.

The review looks into the details more, but overall I honestly think this set is some of the best work that Iron Factory has done period and unlike the other three really make a case for buying another set as their own display. It is a nice figure but the Orion Pax backpack might be too much kibble and then the gray panels on the arms are a bit distracting.
But the headsculpt and verything else are great.

I'm about to get the mp36 Megs. It's my 1st masterpiece figure and the start of my G1 collection. So TT are making an improved optimus but what's the consensus on soundwave and starscream?

I was looking up prices on the MP-36 Megatron on eBay and was surprised to find they were significantly lower than what BBTS is chsrging--like, $80 USD versus the BBTS price of like $230.
My first thought is maybe I'm looking at knock offs but the sellers are highly rated. There are, of course, other sellers charging closer to what I would expect as well. Any thoughts? This seems to good to be true.

I can bet most of the ~$80 MP-36 figures your looking at are knockoffs. There's probably 4-5 different Megatron KOs at this point but most of the sellers are very honest about whether they are or not. I watched a couple of YouTube reviews and even the packaging is pretty darn close with only minor differences (slightly different shades of color, etc).
Like the old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you want a guaranteed genuine one, get it from a trusted seller like BBTS.
Depends what you're looking for. I think I'm in the minority for what I want out of MPs...I want realistic alt modes and cartoon 'bot styling, but I want generally want G1 toy colors and decals (I'm sure ToyHax loves me). I have no desire to replace my MP-10, Soundwave, or Starscream. with newer versions. I'm not even particularly driven to replace my SunSurge with a proper Takara Sunstreaker because SunSurge looks more like the original toy.

Is there a place where people are posting their transformer collections or is it just here. I was going to page through this entire thread looking at comparison shots to make sure I’m buying the right figures but with all these pages it seems like a daunting task.
I’ve managed to find out that I want to get the Masterpiece TRU G1 style Soundwave and the Masterpiece G1 style Optimus Prime but would also like to add a Megatron but not finding which is a decent size comparison. Any help would be appreciated. Saw some reviews as well but now I’m even more confused because there are several different sizes.

There are 2 different MP Primes, but if you are talking about the one in scale with Soundwave, then the Megatron you want to get is the MP - 36 version. Just a few posts above someone is talking about a knockoff version, several of which are out there for cheap. For the legit version, you can expect to spend upwards of $200. Like Optimus, there was an earlier Masterpiece Megatron, but it is very large and not particularly refined by modern standards. The robot looks wonky.

I would hold off getting MP-10 honestly. There is evidence to suggest There is a new MP prime update in the pipleine.

I'm honestly hoping that this "new" Prime has an option of being purchased with or without a trailer because I now literally have a partial wall of non-displayed Prime trailers just stacked up and waiting fall over.
