I would hold off getting MP-10 honestly. There is evidence to suggest There is a new MP prime update in the pipleine.

I think MP-10 is swell, but am always up for a more cartoon-accurate version. Jim said he is looking for Megatron, though. I was on my phone earlier, but here is a pic of MP-36 Megs with Soundwave and MP-11 Starscream:

Ok so I was able to get this KO mp36.

This TRU soundwave

And this Hot Rod which I’m sure is also a KO based on price.

But I’m still confused on which Optimus to get. I’ve been tracking a few which I think are KO of the mp10 but I’m really having a hard time figuring out which is the right height.

MPP10 is the oversized one, MP10V is the smaller sized one, and MP10 is the one I’m looking for I think but wading through the sea of versions is frustrating to say the least.

The standard MP 10 is what you are looking for to go with those figures. Your two options/versions you need to look at are the toys R us version (US) which is a little brighter and lighter color scheme blues and red, then the other is the Japanese version which is the MP10 convoy which is a little darker blues and darker reds.

Gotcha. Just trying to wade through the listings on Ebay is difficult because they look so similar. I’m even ok with a KO if I can get a better price on it but I wanted to make sure I was looking at the right thing.

Slowly building back my collection after selling everything a few years ago.

I started by buying the MPP-10 Wei Jiang Optimus and i'm very happy.




Also got that new Jazz...



And my favorite is the GCreations Prowl



Now i'm waiting for the Rendsora Megatron.

For anyone curious who doesn't have them, the Wei Jiang MPP10 Optimus KO and their Megamaster (Megatron) look fantastic together!!! I don't have space to collect the G1 Lineup in Masterpiece scale, so I just have these two as my representation. I replaced my MP01 and MP05 with these.... pardon the crappy cell phone pic...

I love the MPP10, he compliments my 1/6 figures quite well, I’ll probaly get the Megatron as well.

Get him. The quality of the figure is as good as MPP10, and such a clean figure in bot mode.. even in the back.

my opinions from my copy:

*shoulder ratchets are more sturdy.
*leg ratchets are greatly improved.
*no paint rub issues after transforming. think they just used proper colored plastic.
*comes with a back cover to hide that ridiculous looking backside.
*comes with a couple extra colored kremzeeks.
*comes with an extra cannon loaded with the proper frank welker's voice for megatron.
*only cost $88.95 shipped to my door.
