If he cost $10 or $15 I would say he looked great, but I believe he's going for $50 (from BBTS, for example) so I'm not quite as thrilled.

Yeah, it's the same situation as with the Binaltech figures. Reasonably priced in Japan, but easily costing twice as much once imported.

WOW....Had no expectations for Alternity Convoy, but it turned out great! Shame that it's so freaking small though, 1:32 scale, that's barely bigger then a deluxe...

Dammit! I had no idea the Binaltech/Alternators line was switching to 1:32 instead of 1:25th. I may have to rethink getting this one.

Anyone tempted by the next Encore re-issue....only the mighty Metroplex! I had him when I was little but never added the stickers because I was always worried I'd screw it up!
Help needed....
I just got my animated voyager prime, transform him the first time spin conversion works well, then I realised even after locking the torso, he still does the spinning around thingy.
I look up and think I broke the peg that was supposed to secure it.
I didnt know there was actually a proper way to resist his torso when transforming to vehicle mode, I must have did something forcefully and now the spin conversion doesnt work as well.
Would appreciate any help in fixing him at all.

K., I have a small idea on what happened, but not a good one. Is there a way you can take pictures of the problem area or something? I know that I've had problems with the spinning gimmick too. I have the problems when getting his waist back up.

That happens to a lot of Primes. Somebody brought it up to the Hasbro guys at the panel at SDCC. No fix for it. You didn't break a peg.

It has certainly been an interesting line of releases for the Encore series, though a good deal of them have been done before, it was nice to see Lynx, Omega and the forthcoming Metroplex. Nice to see if they do some more of the gestalt lines or maybe we'll see Trypticon.
