Thanks. IMO is still a worthy kit to own if you are into model kit building. Other than some steps of the instructions being unclear; so far the build is manageable. Strongly recommend to take your time with this kit. Simply drawn to the details of this build especially the design of the leg unit.

That's a good price!Cost me about 120 for this kit. Personally preferred this than the DLX; also a nice touch to include the matrix of leadership.
I'm not familiar with this guy, but he looks like he would have fit in well in the 1985 Transformers-verse.
He is part of the combiner Raiden and I believe they were included in the later G1 series cartoons, the Japanese headmasters continuation.I'm not familiar with this guy, but he looks like he would have fit in well in the 1985 Transformers-verse.

Exactly and it's supposed to be MP, that's why the line is "MPG": "Masterpiece Gatai (I believe), which means "masterpiece combination", if I'm not mistaken.
I looked at the bot, but my buddy actually reviewed it: unfinished in bot and combinermode, but a solid and great looking train.
Pretty much bang on 1:87 scale, so fitting with model train sets.
But if you want a true MP Raiden: Moon Studio's (Zeta) Radiatron.
