BBTS was running another 25% off sale...finally snagged a G1 Thundercracker reissue. That was the last of the original G1 seekers that I lacked.

Why so harsh on the new guy Bonehead? I thought his post seemed legit.

I apologize for being so hash... :angelsmil

...but this is like the 25th time I've seen a post like that in the last 2 weeks. There's a new thread posted on the TF boards every hour saying the same thing.

The whole purpose of making the Magnus armor was because the Classics UM quite honestly sucked without it. That's just common sense.

I still can't get used to Powerglide being such a huge toy, but at least he looks better in something resembling his original color scheme. Pity I'm too stingy these days to spring for the Henkei.

yeah he is a monster. towers over classics prime. i wouldnt have gotten him if i didnt like the character so much. i didnt get the onslaught or silverbolt. i am glad they gave us a bigger version cuz i dont like the legends size. why cant they just release all the minor characters as deluxe size and the stronger characters as voyager or leader class?

Because Hasbro doesn't really care about maintaining scale between its characters. They have the various classes mostly so that they can appeal to people with varying budgets (and so they can sell multiple versions of the same character to the collectors out there). I'm just guessing here, but I imagine that a fair number of kids can only really afford the smaller figures, and they wouldn't be too happy if there weren't any of the main characters available as deluxes.

well they could have given those kids one more deluxe figure with powerglide. that's what i was getting at. if you are gonna make big figures with lights and sounds, just make another prime. those who can afford him can get him and those who cant afford him can get a smaller prime. why make a minor character like powerglide so elaborate when he's not as popular?

well either way i love him. i dont regret getting him. if you lift up that gray panel on his chest, you can see his heart. just like the episode "the girl who loved pwerglide" or whatever it was called.

Ok Im abit confused what's the diff with the Henkei Hotrod & Jolt?

How dumb a name for a car is the "Nissan Fairlady Z"?

Well, the fairlady name was used since the 1960s check this link out for its history https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Fairlady

The model that Megatron is based on I believed will be the latest model the 350Z more info here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_350Z

U may remember it as the car which DK drove in The Fast & The Furious Tokyo Drift.

The girly name aside, it has won several awards for car of the year

are the new henkei versions even worth it anymore? they were good for the classics line cuz hasbro made stuff like neon green megatrons and stuff but the new universe line seems to have more accurate color schemes.

and is that ratchet just gonna be a repaint of the ironhide mold, or will he have a new headsculpt and ambulance lights and stuff?

Ratchet has a new headsculpt and lightbars, as seen in the prototype. :D

And woohoo, new toys, including Wreckgar and Wasp! Though looks like they didn't go for a Bumblebee remold after all!
