IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE GRIMLOCK.

It seems the Grimlock is not without its flaws.

Images from an HK forum, the parts of Grimy's tail seem to scratch easily. But thankfully it's easily preventable with application of Magic Tape before you close the parts in.

Thanks to Gasha over at the PTK forums for the headsup. :)

I didn't see this posted. Hobby Link Japan (https://www.hlj.com/) is having a sale on a number of transformers things, such as the Encore, Henkei, Masterpiece, and Trans-scanning figures. Many are 50% off or more. Shipping can be on the expensive side since it's from Japan, and they don't give you an exact shipping amount until after you order. But they do have estimates on each product page, and in my experience the actual shipping if you order several items is quite a bit less than the estimates. I've generally used SAL (surface) shipping in the past, and haven't had any problems aside from the speed.

I got Encore Trailbreaker and Hoist for around $18 apiece, Trans-scanning Bumblebee and Optimus for around $16 apiece, and Metroplex (aka Metroflex) for $35 (before shipping).

A number of the Henkei figures were around $10, but I already had the Classics versions and they didn't seem like huge upgrades, so I passed.

By the way, I found Wreck Gar for the first time (at a TRU). He's pretty nice, even if he has a huge amount of stuff hanging off his back. I like how they actually spring loaded his little forklift tines.

Thanks for the info! I may need to put in my order for Trailbreaker, Hoist, Metroplex, Thundercracker and Skywarp since those are the ones I'm missing in my G1 reissue collection. But I know it wont ship with SAL, when I ordered my Skylynx they shipped it with EMS because of the value. But still yet it's a great deal. Oh, and I need that MP Thundercracker.

Nice. I've been pretty contempt with my MP-03 being a Thundercracker stand in for awhile, but for $60, I'll finally bite on the real one. I just hope there aren't any QC issues on mine

This supposed to be based off the Junkions from TF the Movie?.

Tried taking a few pics last night, but they all sucked, stupid flash. :( Grimlock is awesome though, regardless of his size he's a great figure. I'll try to take some pics in daylight today in both robot and Dino modes.

Tell me about it. I thought the Scar bio was hard to take shots of, but Grimlock's pretty tough to capture. I'm gonna try again later with no flash. But anyway, here he is in all his glory. He'd definitely in my top #5 toys of all time:D
