That's one of the better customs I've seen lately but it's still a kids toy underneath, not fine art so there's no way that kind of price can be justified.

When is BotCon? Has it already happened? There is supposed to be a Rodimus (Titled "Rodimus Minor") redeco there in darker scheme than the standard look from the new Animated line....I'm interested in tracking one down...

Apparently he is a new character added in for Season 3 (Voiced by Judd Nelson again! ), I missed the episode but I stumbled upon the information when scrolling the net.

Yup, though he only had a few small cameos, the biggest of which in the opening 5 minutes of Transwarp.

That's the thing. I don't know. I read online in one of the forums that at BotCon there is an exclusive or something in the darker colors I posted, while I know Hasbro does that in their packaging pics I was interested to see if it was true or just standard Internet BS.

It sounds like BS to me. Probably just a case of wanting one colorscheme, but instead having to settle for another like what happened with Arcee.

Bad ass!, i never watched the new cartoon but, i like how much they sort of stayed true to the G1 cartoon, Cyclonus looks wicked and thats a for sure buy..Rodimus looks ok..the toy i mean but, that bowcaster thing..i am not feeling that..should have had a big canon instead.

This one was something of a proto for my buddy as he's doing another Sideways for ebay that will have the silver pinstripes on the car mode and a few other extra details but I'm happy enough with this one which looks a hell of a lot better than when I first removed it from the packaging.

Funny story, actually. That was posted as fanart by John Nizzi on his site, and someone posted it on Micheal Bay's forums. He saw it and liked it so much that he ended up hiring Nizzi to not only have Long Haul in the movie, but to design either a few or all Constructicons (not sure which of the two it was)!

A lot of other concept art leaked too, though. It's late now but I can dig through my folders and post them all tomorrow if you want.

My friend was a member at TFW2005 and a couple other TF sites but due to the behavior of frenzy_rumble that I mentioned a few pages back he was unjustly banned from them so he's trying to find some other places to show his work and I suggested he sign up here which he has.

If you look in the customs section for a G2 Optimus Prime that's been repainted with movie Prime style flames you'll see another great example of what he's capable of.

Also keep looking for the twins for me as even with the shipping I'd effectively be getting 2 Deluxes for the price of one in the UK so with money being tight it makes sense for me to save a bit where possible.
