After deciding to cancel Buster Prime I ordered the following instead,

Takara Hybrid Style G1 Optimus Prime
( I always liked the look of this but didn't want to pay the £80 plus it now goes for on ebay. Thankfully it's being rereleased in November for half that.)

Weapons upgrade for City Commander armor
( I have some G1 shoulder missiles that look decent enough but I like the ones in this set too and the new gun is better than either of the weapons that come with Classics Ultra Magnus. )

And after selling my remaining Star Wars busts on ebay I now have the cash to order my Transformers Holy Grail which is Masterpiece Grimlock

You sure man? We haven't seen in hand pics of Buster Prime yet, he could still turn out to be great, even without the glossy red.

I think the ROTF line in particular should be renamed "Greyformers" because with few exceptions ( eg the HA line ) it's riddled with that grey plastic and it makes what are in several cases well designed molds look a lot lesser in quality because most of the details that are sculpted into the parts are lost in a sea of grey and unless Hasbro increase their paint budget I expect Starscream will be the same.

Concerns about the paint aside Leader Starscream does look good, the F-22 mode is much better than I expected and with a decent paintjob this could be the best Movie Leader Class yet.

Glad you like my choices, I'm just waiting for the busts I sold to reach their destination then I can order Grimlock which will be like an early Christmas present, he's gonna look awesome lined up with my Classics

Dude, Buster Prime is only lacking the glossy red and shiny silver (it's a bit more normal silver now, but at least no molded grey). It's disappointing, but still a must get.
