Help Support Collector Freaks Forum:
If it does I'd advise waiting a while because if it's like Hasbro's MP Prime it'll start at £60-£70 then warm shelves for months before finally being reduced to £30-£40.
I decided to rent War For Cybertron today and it's the best Transformers game there is but that's really not saying very much because once all the G1 nostalgia wears off it's true colors as a poor man's Gears of War are revealed.

That's the trick. People on other TF boards are worried about him being scalped. MP Grimy will not be scalper-bait, so I expect him to sit for alittle while. Scalpers go after stuff that's easy and cheap to flip - that way they don't have to worry too much about holding the item for long. You see scalpers grabbing dozens of Hot Wheels, not dozens of MP Grimlocks. Granted TRU is horrible at sales or clearances, I'd say given how long Walmart Skywarp hung around, MP Grimy should be easy to snag.
Any HA Mudflaps on the shelves at all?

There was some decent news on the new show, Transformers Prime earlier. I'll do a quick recap:
-Completely CG, some of the most ambitious seen on TV to date
-All new continuity with mostly movie influences, but it also draws elements from G1, WFC and Animated (both with designs and themes)
-Megatron is voiced by Frank Welker, who has a new and menacing voice for the role
-Core Autobot theme consists of Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Arcee and Bulkhead, core Decepticons only had Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave revealed
-24 episodes per season, and they have enough material for 4 seasons
-May or may not air when the Hub debutes on 10/10/10, they might wait a little bit with it
-Megatron looks like a mix of his TFA (Cybertronian form) and WFC versions, and has the bucket head
-Optimus Prime looks like the WFC version with movie design elements thrown in, but the classic colors remain

They didn't show that much though, just a few seconds of footage of the new show, Welker and Cullen talking for a bit, and some concept art. Definately sounds promising though!
The Hasbro panel was a bit dull apparently, mostly just repaints. They also said why we are missing Constructicons: "Because we didn't want to flood the market with too many construction vehicles", urgh. But there were some very cool toys revealed, which were put on display afterwards, check them out!

Terradive, another HFD deluxe we had seen before, but holy ____ is he AWESOME. The weapon is excellent, the robot mode is quite well designed, the transformation is unique for a jet TF, the altmode is based on the Conquest jet from GI Joe...Must have figure, IMO.

Blurr = Looks excellent. Will be pre-ordered as soon as Kapow Toys put the info on their site.

The new cartoon = No intrest whatsoever. I would sooner have seen the WFC style kept so we could get more toys based on those designs.

Nope, pictures weren't allowed. I'll be surprised if we don't see something at SDCC though.
All will be available in the next few months.
I wouldn't write it off so quickly. Like I said, it's WFC style mixed with movie, though probably not overtly busy and more streamlined like Bumblebee is in the promotional images.

....Holy ____, the Hasbro Designer panel was, quite simply, insane. A LOT of good stuff was revealed.
New Legends:
G1 Optimus, Starscream, Prowl, Megatron. Latter transforms into his original gun altmode, which can also be held by MP Starscream!
New Generations:
-Deluxe Skullgrin, Darkmount remold, new head that looks like a ram skull.
-Deluxe Scourge, white stealth jet with G1 influences, like an elevating head that you can attach his gun ontop of. The gun is modeled after his Targetmaster weapon, but he doesn't come with one like Cyclonus did.
-Deluxe WFC Cliffjumper, Bumblebee remold.
-Deluxe Thunderwing! Is supposed to look a lot like the G1 version, and the front of his altmode can detach to become a drone jet. Looks a bit like a F-15 in altmode.
-Deluxe Tracks, all new mold, can still transform into a flying car! May be remolded into Wheeljack.
-Deluxe Jazz, direct G1 update, with boomboxes that can be deployed in either mode!
-Deluxe Perceptor! Truck altmode with threads instead of rear wheels (like the TFA version), sniper rifle as his shoulder cannon, chest can open up to reveal science equipment so he can 'scan stuff'. Will probably be repainted/remolded into either Reflector or Trailbreaker.
New HFD:
-Scout Windcharger. Looks more like a Generations toy though, was probably included with HFD because Generations is deluxe only.
-Deluxe Fallback, Brawn repaint to look like G1 Outback, but they couldn't get the original name.
-Deluxe Mindset, Autobot remold out of Hailstorm, new head.
-Voyager Fallen, the one we saw on display already. Removeable mask, and the colors might be darker with the actual release.
-Voyager Grapple, Universe Inferno remold. New head, and a crane that mounts on his back. Probably included with HFD because Generations is deluxe only.
-Voyager Lugnut! WW2 bomber altmode, very bulky, has claws instead of pincers, and a cannon that pops up overhead. His arms also have some gimmicks they're keeping a secret for now. Might get remolded into Jhiaxus.
Power Core Combiners:
-Heavytread, a tank PCC that looks a bit like G1 Brawl. His Minicon, Groundspike, can attach to the front of his altmode to become a cowcatcher/plow.
-Skyhammer, a gray jet that has a helmet deploy over his normal head when you put him in torso mode. Looks quite a bit like Triggerhappy from G1.
-Constructicons combiner. Same thing as Bombshock; looks like the G1 version while it really isn't. Steamhammer is the core robot.
-Dinosaur combiner. Grimstone is the name of the core robot, who's a styrachosaurus.
QnA:
-Cyber Ops Bumblebee has a neat easter egg. Activate his vehicle sound effects enough times and he will start playing parts of the original theme.
-On fankits: Sometimes, they're working on stuff that the fankits then beat them too. Like how there was an unofficial Drift figure last year, and the official one this year.
-TF Prime will be a show only, no toys in the near future.
-They said that there was some great stuff they couldn't show just yet, and hinted that one of those things was a new Kup!
-Designers commented that they would like to do more casettes updates, as well as human figures in some way.
-They MIGHT do figures of WFC Trypticon and Omega Supreme, but only if they find a way to make it marketable to kids.
-More female figures are coming, they didn't specify who though.
-They might do Last Stand of the Wreckers toys, but that has a very slim chance of happening.
-Takara won't do new Animated figures.

Except that some people will inevitably raise their hopes and kick up a fuss when they don't happen. Unless a project isn't 100% confirmed it'd be better not to say anything.
I can't complain about everything else though, what with England getting stuffed by the Germans at football and the revelation of lots of new TF's it's been a good day
