Wheeljack, Jazz, Scourge, Kup and mayyyybe Perceptor. That's the most current line of TF's I've ever bought in recent memory:yess: I can't wait to get them

I wonder how many of these pics from Amazon.co.jp are the legit Takara versions because most of them seem very Hasbro like in their deco.........Scourge has a G1 toy influenced color scheme which is odd as it would seem more likely that Takara would go the cartoon route so that he matches with Henkei Cyclonus which incidentally is one of my top 3 Classics style molds.

Wheeljack looks OK though and just needs some reprolabels of the Alitalia logos and race numbers to look suitably authentic in alt mode which I'm sure they're already working on.

I wonder if they'll do a set with the Martini logos for Jazz as well?

Rumble & Frenzy look OK but are entirely surplus to my requirements as I think the PerfectEffect pair are superior in just about every way.

I don't dislike the G2 Prime mold but there's a lot of that crappy grey plastic in there which leads me to believe it's the Hasbro version.

I admittedly haven't a clue on the accuracy in relation to the original G2 mold as my original intrest in TF's had long gone by the time it was released.

If Rumble & Frenzy are going to be sold at the Deluxe pricepoint I expect they'll be 2 Scouts like the ice cream truck twins were.

I have to admit though, the only reason I like the colors so much is because it was my 2nd (and at the time favorite) Prime figure. If it wasn't, it'd probably turn me off. :lol Can't wait for the Scourge repaint though, even if it won't be called that. The mold will look slick in that delicious black, grey and teal.

Damn, Wheeljack looks AWESOME! Much better then Tracks, brilliant use of the red and green as well! Frenzy and Rumble look cool too, though I still wonder what size they are, and what their supposed combination looks like.

Gotta get every single one of these! They have really stepped up their game on these new toy designs. Everything has really impressed me so far in this line

Except for the ridiculous price tag.
Sorry but id rather these if it means saving £30 per character.

One of the best toys ever. I just wish the new one came with a trailer.

Also my opinion of WFC has changed. Its gone from "ok" to "BLOODY AWESOME".
A bit repetetive though but given the richness of the story, the characters and how much fun the shooting and transforming is i cant wait for the sequel.
It'll inevitably be set on earth, since
Cybertron is left lifeless
at the end of the first game, so i wonder if we will finally get the G1 game we've all dreamed of?

That Wheeljack does look very nice. I wish the Alt looked that toon-accurate. Tape-tanks look pretty good, as well. I just wish they transformed into, er, tapes.

That doesn't look too bad actually........ I think I've just developed an allergy to grey plastic after the first 2 movie lines :lol

Dubz,
My PerfectEffect Rumble & Frenzy came to £45 shipped for the 2 so I don't know where you've got that £30 per character from.

It is expensive for such small figures but worth it to me as after Universe/Henkei Ravage I knew that whatever Hasbro did with the other tapes wouldn't be worth bothering with.

Oh i thought they were £45 each.
Still too expensive for a scout though.
