Crap, I didn't know that... I thought these were classic-sized or something!

Well, I'm sold - gonna have to get these now!

Where do these ship out of, anyone know?

Where is the best place to order these, btw? Directly from igears' web site? I'm thinking more and more that I want these guys all to be in-scale.

I got mine from https://www.edbomber.com/main/ He had a whole bunch a few weeks ago and he's located in TX, I believe, and I got mine within 3 days. Real good guy

I ordered Faith Leader last night from IGear directly. Got a shipping email within a couple of hours. Hopefully it doesn't take the estimated 3 weeks to get here. I'm really excited for this guy.

Hmm. . .he doesn't seem to have any in-stock. Anyone know if the igear site itself is OK to order from?

Just spoke to Ed and he actually has a few left, just contact him from the site & just let him know Jay referred you and you'll definitely pay less than what you would from iGear directly and wont have to wait nearly as long.

Let me know when you sell this. :wave For serious.

Wow, it's crazy how people get over this hobby!

Anyway, a couple of new shots to lighten the mood....

Nice pics man!

Generations Dirge is my favorite of the Classics style Seekers/Coneheads and although I have the Henkei version of Red Alert I don't think the Hasbro one turned out too badly either.

I got mine straight from igear. Overall a cool figure, but the hands are not that great. The screws don't want to hold on mine and the super articualted ones fell apart.

Did you get yours from the first batch, or the second batch (w/Megs head, etc.)?

I'm kind of on the fence about this one now. I really want a Prime in that scale, but I'm afraid of the can of worms it will open up.

Sounds like the first release as the second one doesn't come with the extra hands.

I'll post my opinion on what the QC is like on the second one when mine arrives.

Faith Leader arrived today which was a nice suprise as I only ordered it a week ago so props to iGear for quick ( & cheap ) international shipping.

As for the item it's damn good. The first thing that's immediately noticeable is the weight which is considerably less than the official MP due to the lack of diecast.

Some would argue that this is a detriment to the overall quality but I've found it makes holding certain poses easier as the weight is more evenly distributed.

The plastic quality seems to be very good, whether it's comparable to Hasbro or FansProjects is one for the experts but it doesn't feel like that of a cheap KO which is good enough for me.

All the joints are tight and everything works as it should during transformation which is a marked improvement from my experiences with the Hasbro MP.

The gun can be a little fiddly to get in his hand tightly but if I remember right that also happened on the official one.

The flip up wrist panels appear to have random images on them depending on the release........mine has Ironhide on the left one and Springer on the right which is cool as he'll inevitably get displayed with Warbot at some point.

The extras are,

Orion Pax head x1
Megatron head x1
Energon axe x1
Megatron gun x1
G1 rifle for Classics/Henkei Prime x1

I also got the cape that was apparently a limited edition which was a suprise as it said on the website that it had sold out. Not sure if I'll actually use it as I've read of a few issues with the clips that attach it but it's a nice bonus.

Overall it's an expensive but ultimately more satisfying version of MP Prime that loses nothing in terms of quality despite being smaller and lighter and if anything it's a lot more fun.

It's a perfect alternative to Classics/Henkei Prime and also fits much better with the other MP's ( except Megatron ) and I can't recommend it enough.

Any concerns I had about iGears QC are now zero and I'm definitely looking at getting Ultra Magnus & the trailer, Arcee and probably Prime's trailer if they make one that includes Roller.

My faith in the official companies may have been shaken recently but the 3rd party ones are kicking ass.

Hmm, so you think maybe preordering the Coneheads is a safe move?

I'm not convinced I need them (or have the space for them!) but they are damn cool...

I hope they put up pics of the Magnus armor before Ultra Leader sells out. I don't want to buy him until I know what he'll end up looking like.

DPrime,
If you have the cash and want them enough I'd say it's seriously worth considering.

Just be prepared for an odd feeling when you take the first one out of the packaging as the lack of diecast is REALLY noticeable.

Not that it affects the joints or overall quality but I can see where people are coming from when they've said Faith Leader feels cheap in comparison to the official MP.

YoNoSe,
I expect there'll be a second run of Ultra Leader to account for the extra demand now that the trailer has been announced. Pics would indeed be nice as I want to be 100% the trailer/armor will be worth it.

Well, I think I'll get Faith Leader at least. I can probably live with just the original Seekers anyway.

Like Karamazov, I'm a bit worried about the can of worms this will open! I don't want TOO many TFs, but I do like the idea of an MP-style Prime in scale with the Seekers and Grimlock... and I guess the upcoming Hot Rod/Rodimus as well?
