Were Wreck-Gar the equivalent of the US price for him over here I'd consider it but at just over double that it's just not worth it...I'll make exceptions for toys that I consider worth the extra such as United Tracks & Jazz but having looked at numerous pics I'm still not impressed with WG and think a Voyager with his Animated alt mode would have been more intresting.

Wow, I want an all new Soundwave, but this would be totally acceptable as well. Works far better then I thought it would. Just remold the chest window to be more square!

EDIT: BTS is making their first full figure. If they can pull this off, I'll might have to buy my first 3rd party product.

I don't know what it is, just can't get into it, don't like the design... same with City Commander.

Ditto. City Commander looks OK i suppose, but for the insane amount of money you have to fork out for those kinds of things i expect perfection, and the robot mode kinda looks like Magnus, but the trailer is utterly useless. He's supposed to be a car carrier ffs! Not worth the arms and legs he costs in my eyes, same goes for protector although he is far closer to the original designs than city commander but theres still something "off" about him to me. Again, for the first born child he costs to buy nothing should look "off".

Wreck-Gar is an awesome new deluxe figure - highly recommended!

WOW! And considering the lower price point to the inevitably overpriced fansproject version, Epic win! Shame about the grey though..but meh...ive learned to not let such things bother me so much anymore. They are only toys afterall, not highly valuable antigues or priceless historic artifacts...though maybe one day in the year 4000.

It doesn't bother me either, I either buy the Takara version or as is the case with Wreck-Gar I just don't bother with it at all.

In the next couple of months I'll get the last 4 official molds I want and then I'm done with Has/Tak.....the timing is going to work out just fine for the first TFC Constructicon release in May.

I doubt it, but if they do make one it'll be the most overpriced third party release (culminatively, sp?) ever.
I mean a crappy hasbro devs that doesnt even have individual robot modes is nearly £100, i dread to think what a proper g1 third party version would cost.
Either way i wont bother with it, im happy with my official classics versions and the rotf legends devs.

I can't stand the classics Devastator. Looks terrible to me, and absolutely nothing like the cartoon version. After doing some research at TFW, I came across a preliminary pic of what (I think) bcm is referring to. It definitely looks good, but unfortunately, he doesn't really scream "Devastator" to me yet at all. Maybe there will be more parts that flesh out the look better. If not, as great as it looks, I will pass.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not saying classics devs is perfect or even beautiful, but it'll do me, especially considering the alternative is either: A KO G1 Brickastator, or one of these overpriced third party ones which so far look as bad as all those awful Unicron-stator customs that EVERYONE and their mum seems to have made.
The first couple were cool but now...jesus its like nobody has their own fricking ideas anymore!

I love that thick and chunky dump truck. Looks awesome, thats how I like my bots.

Mp Rodimus looks amazing...but theres something about the plastic on him which makes him look...i dunno...cakey.
Like he's a robot covered in smooth icing suger or somthing, like a bad repaint.
