I love that thick and chunky dump truck. Looks awesome, thats how I like my bots.

Yeah, I really dig the individual Constructicons, but that Devastator seems to miss the mark in terms of looking like the cartoon counterpart.

As with other Classics style TF's whether official or otherwise, it's not meant to be a strict copy of the G1 animation model and is more of an updated version that takes cues from various sources.

Good thing too as if everything stuck rigidly to the G1 animation the proportions would be all over the place........MP Hot Rod has a great robot mode but the car mode looks like it's been squashed.

I understand that some concessions will be made. But, the modified FansProject Bruticus was very recognizable at a glance, whereas this Devastator isn't. . .yet. I'll withhold final judgment until we see it painted up, but if it just looks like a cool, large robot in yellow and purple and is otherwise unrecognizable from the cartoon version, then I've got no use for it personally.

The Hasbro G1 Devastator doesn't look like the cartoon either.

Not many are, of course, but it looks more like the toon version than this 3rd party guy so far.

I think once he's painted, he'll be as recognizable as Universe prime. Not an exact remake, but kinda updated.

They certainly make a difference to the otherwise plain looking car modes of Alternators Tracks & Jazz.

I love the hood decal for Tracks, but for some reason it doesn't really work on Jazz for me. Doesn't really fit that car, probably would have if it were just two blue stripes though.

just snagged RTS G2 Optimus and Preceptor! was surprised that Preceptor has chrome pieces. still looking for Generations Kup and RTS Wreck-Gar and Jazz
