If you intend on displaying it with Classics Faith Leader is the better choice as MP Prime 2.0 is the same height as MP Rodimus.......who's quite a bit taller than Faith Leader so won't really work the Classics.

I'm leaning toward MP10. I don't collect Classics (in fact, I sold the bulk of my Classics collection a couple of months ago), and I only display MP and Alternator figures. So, looks like this will be better in relative scale. Also, I like that he's a bit different from the figure I already own. But if I run across a Faith Leader for the right price, I might not be able to resist :(

At this point, they've gotta do a Megatron, as well. Would suck to have all the other figures roughly in scale to one another, but only a giant Megatron.

I agree that MP10 would be better with Alternators and the majority of other MP's.

I think a smaller Megatron is inevitable and even though I'm intending on getting iGear's I would be open to a redesigned official one if the robot mode was suitably bulked up in certain areas.

Mine is up for grabs in the FS section. :naughty

These kits look amazing especially Optimus. Definitely going to have to get him, and probably Bumblebee too. They are just amazing looking! :panic:

yea I definitely want to get Optimus, especially since he's supposed to be about the size of a Leader figure. If that's true, then he'll fit right in with all the others. hopefully we also get a Megatron and Starscream out of there. Would love a Shockwave as well but you never know about these things

This was a great fun project. I started with an over-sized Sixshot (10" tall to the head, 14" to wing tip, in bot mode) Added lots of articulation, wheels, and a spiffy paint job.

Points of Articulation:
- Robot head on ball joint
- shoulder on ball joints
- telescoping arms with elbows
- hinged upper arm
- hinged lower arm
- wrists
- hands
- winged wolf (alt mode) head on ball joint
- hips (on strong ball joints)

Shockwave and Megatron would be awesome.

MP-10 will NOT be the same size as Grimlock and the seekers, he will be bigger. iGear's Faith Leader is the same height as the MP seekers and a little smaller than Grimlock which fits the scale correctly.

If you don't mind your Prime being taller than Grimlock then I guess this isn't much of a problem.

This video has a reference for scale with Starscream, skip to 6:45

This forum post has a pic with Faith Leader next to MP Grimlock.

So I see they're also doing a second run of the MP Rodimus... BBTS said there were improvements made because of problems. What were the problems?

I have been converted! Well...at least a little:

LOVE my Protector. Was contemplating selling him at first before i received him as i just wanted to use up the credit i had with the website i ordered him from and this was all they had and i thought if i didnt like him i can just sell him and use the cash to get something i actually wanted.
But once i opened up the box and transformed him any thoughts of selling him soon vanished. He's awesome in so many ways, especially QC-wise, but then again when something costs this much its entitled to be flawless...just a shame Takara dont understand that concept.

Still, im not entirely sold on this whole third party thing, but at least in this case i am happy with what i got and can see myself buying at least one other i-gear product in the future.

I still think MP-09 is the ultimate rendition of the character and i will get one of the "fixed" wave that comes out later in the year, but Protector is a good alternative until then and will fit in better with my classics display, just got to add an autobot logo somewhere, doesnt seem right without it.

Also i LOVE the new packaging for these guys:

(the toys are good fun as well)
