Picked up Shockwave, the only voyager i'll be getting from this line. I think Skyhammer looks sh't.

The Shockwave i picked out had some silver paint on the left side of his head, i thought this made the figure look better..more battle worn.

I took advantage of tru BOGO half off on TF3 toys. Wednesday I had a $10 rewards coupon and got both leader class Sentinel Prime and Bumblebee for $60 and tonight I finally found 2 Shockwave that came out to $30 for both. I had to ask the workers if they had more and he laughed because alot of people are asking for him. But makes me wonder why they don't put him on the shelves but only all Primes.

Gotta say, Shockwave there doesn't look half-bad. His look doesn't seem to get as... mangled, I suppose, with the Bayformers treatment.

Still waiting for the MP treatment, though, either Hasbro or iGear, doesn't matter...

It's a tricky one. Nothing has been 100% confirmed about the price of the other 5 which has lead to speculation that TFC will increase the price as they go because they know they'll have people who bought the first one by the balls.

I don't really believe that though as it's such a make or break project so I can't see them risking their reputation by trying to screw people in any way whether it's with the pricing or the QC.

The drawback with waiting for all 6 is that providing everything lives up to expectation the secondary market prices will be insane although a rerelease in a box set as well as a version in G2 colors are likely.

I can see myself getting this in the end, but we'll see. I'm probably going to sell a few Hot Toys items when I get back so I might have some extra money to play around with. I really want to see more comparison pics with the original G1 designs, too...

the same guy who leaked the MP-10 info a few months back made some comments about the next few MP figures, through mp-15.


one of the things he said was that there were no plans for the rest of the dynobots.

A new Starscream, with skywarp and thundercracker to follow if scream sells well ( that's MP 11) some serious "nerdrage" and A "ultra magnus figure that is more than just a MP-10 recolor. "

Skywarp and thundercracker are not 12 and 13. they'll be numbered like MP11S and MP-11T or some-such was how he alluded to it.

Looks like the Masterpiece line is something else to pay no further attention to then.....I would like to support official products but there's less & less being made I'm intrested in eg,

There are no plans for the Dinobots or Soundwave, yet, and all the speculation and hint dropping is making it sound like they're going to step it up big time for the MP line. Something tells me that MP10 is the start of a long term plan of recreating the most iconic G1 cast members, culminating in 2014 for the 30th anniversary. Basically, a modernized G1. While Classics definitely fit that description, it lacked diecast and vehicle realism. We've heard that MP11 will up the ante when it comes to alt mode realism. Who would pay up for toys like that? Adults. Older collectors. Hence why I think this "new" direction for the Masterpiece line is a long term plan for a consistent line of new G1 toys.

Looks a lot like my list. I've got Reflector on the way already. Still on the fence about the Constructicon (what will TF Source's price be?), and I'm not big on the FP Insecticon look, as cool as they are.

^^^^ Ah, screwit. Checked TF Source, saw they had the preorder up, and went for it.

I'm sure I can sell it at least at cost if I change my mind later, but the Constructicons were always a favourite of mine... The releases should be spread out enough to make the purchase easy enough. I just hope the quality is good...

I personally care more about bot-mode than alt-mode, so I just hope that they aren't neglecting the former in trying to give us nice versions of the latter. Seems to me that the original MP Megatron and seekers' bot-modes already suffered a slight bit due to Takara's focus on making the alt-modes look right.
