also, about his legs, he's got the same bot on both legs just so show people how big he will be in completed mode.

if you look closely, i think both his arms are the same as well.

A bit of bad news for British collectors as it seems the initial price Kapow were quoted for each one was.....optimistic.

Scavenger's pre-order is now up but at £69.95 instead of £50-£55.

After a bit of financial juggling I've managed to get my order in, it's my birthday next month so I figured it'd make a nice present to myself.

I read somewhere they would be closer to $80, which is high, but something I would consider. Not $100. That's half a Hot Toys figure (well, I guess $80 is half of some HT figures, now that I think about it )!

Yep - just think of it as a two-for-one deal!

I understand that there are going to be higher costs with these companies engineering their own new figures. But like I think I posted previously--if I was gonna pay that much for a Devastator, he would have to be 99% G1 cartoon accurate. And this figure doesn't look to be turning out that way.

Is this at least going to be IDW accurate? That'd be enough for me...

The biggest thing to me is that the head seems quite off... Maybe it'll look better painted, though.

Nothing has been seen of Mixmaster or Bonecrusher yet which is why Devastator has Scavenger for both arms & Scrapper for both legs in the pic where it's holding the Targetroid.

This has caused some to speculate that TFC won't make them but it seems more likely that they've been focusing on getting the first 2 or 3 ready for release and they simply haven't revealed them yet.

No doubt the conspiracy theorists will be saying this is a move to stop the evil iGear releasing the main Seekers with their tweaked version of the original mold

Maybe the new Seeker mold will be like the original proto for the first one which had a much nicer robot mode but in all honesty I don't care because I'm more intrested in seeing new characters.

Starscream is my favorite Transformer, so I am all about this. The more and better Starscreams the better (plus, I'm not keen on paying $250-300 for Thundercracker). Only drawback is that we still don't have Soundwave!

Elbows look fine to me, but the alt mode looks a bit stubby for an A-10.

You know, after I posted that, I wondered if that was the case. Makes sense.

So, what to do - support the line by buying what's available, or wait until we see the whole package?

I think once they get that big chest "V" part on there he'll look G1 enough. Still not 100% on the head, but maybe it'll look more the part when painted up.

I'm not as enthused by FP's Minibots as I am their Insecticons.

The balljointed arms on iGear's Seaspray look much better and I think I'll wait to see what their Powerglide looks like too as he looks a bit.....odd.

It's a tricky one. Nothing has been 100% confirmed about the price of the other 5 which has lead to speculation that TFC will increase the price as they go because they know they'll have people who bought the first one by the balls.

I don't really believe that though as it's such a make or break project so I can't see them risking their reputation by trying to screw people in any way whether it's with the pricing or the QC.

The drawback with waiting for all 6 is that providing everything lives up to expectation the secondary market prices will be insane although a rerelease in a box set as well as a version in G2 colors are likely.
