For nearly $100? No thanks.
don't get the igear arcee yet. at botcon Hasbro hinted at one in the generations line later this year during a QnA. I'd hold off and see how it comes out first.
if its ass, Igear will likely still have them get it then. if not, cheap arcee.
DPrime,
There's a picture of Scavenger in this thread,
https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tran...c-project-deva-reflector-pics-awesome-42.html
The articulation looks good, only questions left for me are whether the plastic is good and Kapow Toys are able to stick to the £50-£55 pricepoint they've said.
As much as I love a good custom upgrade set I think that particular one looks awful. Animated Arcee is OK with Animated toys and that's it.
... it's just that every 3rd party thread on forums like TFW are dominated with morons going on and on about "glorified KO's" "stolen IP's" and the like and it seems like people are more concerned with the legalities or origins of the molds instead of enjoying the fact there's some great new TF's being made that we'd never get officially.
For nearly $100? No thanks.
That's pretty much what they're all going to cost, isn't it?
Makes for an expensive Devastator, that's for sure... I don't know. I think I need more pics (including comparison pics with G1 toys and IDW comic characters) and more info...
I mean, certainly I can swing $100 figures or I wouldn't be a member here, but I can only buy so many of them!
Good points
Each Constructicon will apparently be the size of a small-ish Deluxe and have 3 modes ( robot, vehicle & Devastator limb ). So it'll be bigger than any official combiner.
Little to no parts-forming is required for the Devastator mode.
It's an original set of molds.
It's not made by Hasbro so it'll be without any lame gimmicks such as electronics.
Bad points
Price isn't cheap but is comparable with other 3rd party releases.
If you decide to wait for a review of the whole thing secondary market prices will be insane.

so much truth there. i missed out on the nemmy prime trailer. so pissed about that. whole reason i got the guy.Yep, if I've learned anything collecting Hot Toys and TF third party items it's "you snooze, you lose".
Still as much as I want "Not Devy" I am starting to worry about price. I'll probably go up to £60 but beyond that I might be out
I Love my Crazy Devy upgrades and if needed will console myself with IGear Impactor and Mini Bots
Bob
All very good points, and I definitely dont want to try and get these on the secondary market. A couple decent pics of this would help.
