@frenzy_rumble
That's sick! Love the lights!

@encline_designs
Wow! At first glance, it looks like a CGI still.

Wow you guys are busting out the awesome paint apps on these DOTM figures! I must admit I am excited for DOTM. Don't judge me.

My big news - finally got a Kup and Warpath from Hasbrotortureshop.
I know, big effen news.

I was wondering if anyone thinks that with the announcement of the re-release of G1 Devastator, if it would be logical to assume that we will eventually be getting a re-release of all the G1 Dinobots?

That's awesome Thom! I am surprised on how cool some of these DOTM figures are (Sentinel, Voyager Shockwave, HA Roadbuster & Sandstorm). Also Generations figures are showing up in full force at WalMart. And Encline that is a SWEET repaint, it was cool seeing you at BotCon.

Looks like we'll get another 3rd party Devastator. This one is from a new company called Maketoy, who's friends with Fans Project and is helped out by them. They're also the ones who made that Powerglide, Seaspray and G2 OP trailer that were seen at Botcon. Cool stuff, and I can't wait to see prototype pics of their own Devastator, the silhouette alone looks pretty damn good.

Hmm, interesting. I gotta say just that silhouette alone looks tons better than that other devastator which just looks like a POS.

Well it's a nice picture but so far that's all it is.

The design seems to be more "original G1" than the IDW look TFC are using but if their adherence to the original look also means smaller individual Constructicons and more partsforming than the TFC one then my plans won't change.

Looks neet, bit it's just a line-art at the moment. once we see some prototyping, or some 3d models with a scale reference, i'll make a decision. Big and impressive is important for Devvy, And I like the IDW look. so odds are I'll stick with TFC.

DO WANT to see more of the g2 prime trailer weapons, however.

I think it's a case of "3rd party hater's disease" striking again :)

For me TFC Scavenger being unlike the G1 toy is a damn good thing as the original Constructicons were ugly little brickformers with a combined mode that was pathetic.

TFC's Constructicons are all around Deluxe scale, have great poseability and have more than enough design cues taken from various G1 based sources to be easily recognisable but because they're not official products they get subjected to ridiculous amounts of scrutiny whilst Hasbro get an easy ride even though their cheapness seems to know no limits.

Maybe... Though I don't agree about the ugly G1 toy comment! Can't compare the originals with what we've got today. For their time, they were amazing, and quite still pleasant to the eye, in my opinion.

But I also wouldn't want them to look exactly like the toy. A cartoon or IDW comic accurate look is much more important to me. I'll have to do another search for cartoon and comic pics to do a comparison. Maybe it could use a few more paint apps, but so far it still looks good to me, especially in those new pics.

The Insecticons, to me at least, instantly look "different" enough from G1 that I don't think I'm interested. They're cool, for sure, but just not for me. So far, I'm not getting that vibe at all with the Constructicons (which is good).

Is there a site that has transforming instructions? I bought a loose Buster Prime and Battle Ops Bumblebee and I don't want to take the chance of breaking it. Thanks.

check videos too, those usually help. Especially when I get them prior to instructions being released.

Are people seriously getting excited over those lame third party constructicons? They look like has/tak releases (at least the one did in that pic that was posted here), so complete rip off's considering their hefty third party price tags.
What are they...deluxe sized and cost as much as a leader? Thats mental :cuckoo:
Whats going on with those ratchet and ironhide toys that one third party company are making? Has there been any new news about them? Ive been out of the loop a bit you see, and they looked somewhat interesting...well for a third party release anyway.
