Are people seriously getting excited over those lame third party constructicons? They look like has/tak releases (at least the one did in that pic that was posted here), so complete rip off's considering their hefty third party price tags.
What are they...deluxe sized and cost as much as a leader? Thats mental
Whats going on with those ratchet and ironhide toys that one third party company are making? Has there been any new news about them? Ive been out of the loop a bit you see, and they looked somewhat interesting...well for a third party release anyway.

Good to see. Although I liked their design I passed on FP's Combaticons because I didn't like the scale so it'll be nice to have a set of Constructicons that are a decent size.

Pricewise Scavenger worked out about the same as Warbot, City Commander and Protector ( £70 ) which isn't too bad considering it's an original Voyager Class mold that's a Triple Changer.

The reasons for 3rd party pricing are well established by now so whilst it's not ideal having to pay so much it's something I've gotten used to and as I don't buy official releases any more it's made things easier to afford.

There's also going to be a successor to Buster Prime, Takara DX Striker Optimus Prime. Paintjob will still be premium (though no chrome anymore), it has the buster guns as well as the remolds that came with Jetwing Optimus, the new gun Optimus has in the movie, a shield, and a 3rd Stealth Force mode (MASK pretty much). No actual pics yet, just this tease, but I'm sure it will look fantastic.

I think people just want G1-style Constructicons with modern articulation. What's not to be excited about?

Sure, the price is steep, but that's the reality when these aren't mass produced and sent to every Walmart in the world... Considering we're on a website where $100+ figures are the norm, most people here don't have much of a problem with the price, I guess.

I have all 3 pre-ordered.

So far the quality of the FansProject stuff I've bought ( City Commander & weapons pack, Warbot Defender, Protector & Sidearm ) has been exceptional in pretty much every aspect.
