Sure, I can get a pic with '07 Leader Prime in robot mode and ROTF Prime in truck mode (I plan to display it that way and I really don't want to attempt transforming that beast again ) From what I've heard I believe he is just ever so slightly shorter than ROTF Leader Prime.

Get buster prime if you want him best in both mode. I'm really impressed when I got him and I own all the LC Primes, and I thought they were nice till I got buster prime. I think you can find him loose on eBay for around $100.

I don't know how limited they are, but they'll probably never be officially released in the US so down the road they could be a little harder to get. As for being worth the price or not I'll have to wait until I finish it to give you a proper answer, but I'm pretty impressed with it so far. Size wise this is between a Master Grade Gundam and a Perfect Grade Gundam and the price is about in the middle of those as well, this is just as detailed as those so I would say the price is about right in terms of model kits. Plus you get rubber tires, chrome parts, and several pre-painted parts so that helps even out the price as well.

I think if you gave him a different head, that would help. Did you see AutobotX's UM on TFW? Nice.

Again, its a matter of budget. To get a whole different head id have to buy a whole new toy, as i dont know anyone who just sells heads. Though, i was tempted at one point but wasnt sure what to go for.

Not much you can do without his armour. I think your UM looks great. They both do, really nice paint apps! Also I noticed articulated hands, what are they?

Thanks buddy. Getting the white to look clean was a real pain in the butt, because white turns pink when you paint it over red, even if youve primed and sealed it. Then the blue stripes wouldnt cooperate, i just had nothing but problems but it was worth it in the end. The hands are from a 2007 leader Prime, the ones on Magnus are anyway, the ones on Prime are repro Gundam hands and they are awesome!

I don't dislike it, I just think the head is a bit uninspired. Not ____ty by any means. Check this one out...

I saw this. Not my cup of tea, didnt really scream "magnus" to me, as i dont think the sentinal prime mold suits the character. I think he should either be a white prime clone, or have his armor or nothing at all, not a hybrid of both.
Its a great custom though, very well done thats for sure i just dont like the overall look.

I think once these have sold i might either do a leader Sentinel Prime custom next, or a leader Bumblebee. What do you guys think?

HERCULES, (DEVASTATOR) crank doesnt look to have waist rotation. but the others do look to have rotation at the waist. and structor has side pivot articualation! well it seems from the pics.

I'll have to check it out then And I know there's gonna be a release of movie Prime with his trailer, has there been any pics yet comparing it with the original G1 version? Having them side by side would be a awesome display

Yeah, its just snap on. No paint or glue required but its helpful to have some glue on hand in case you run into any parts that like to fall off.

Now, i will go and get some sleep and come back and talk about it more with ya'll tomorrow once some of you yanks have actually seen it.

But lets just say it more than puts right most of the wrongs done by ROTF, and improves upon the original in nearly every way, from the action to the effects to characterization, and not just the humans this time!

Amazing.

Just to follow up on this. RT now has 100 reviews in, and 35 (35%) of the reviewers liked it. Still time for the rating to change, but. . .I'm not sure if "DOTM is proving the haters wrong. the critics love it" is completely accurate.

Meh, couldnt give a crap what critics say anyway, i loved it. It was amazing, and people should see it before they judge it. They might actually like it.
I think its funny you only use RT as your source for credible reviews too. To me they are nothing but a bunch of whiners who cant enjoy a good fun movie and just want to nit-pick and complain about everything. Quite sad really.

lol if anything this is a type of movie worth spending time and money at the theatres, really was incredible seeing all those action sequences on 3d imax... Believe me, it puts rotf to shame...

Dotm is all action and no story... Well there's a story but it sucks. This did not right the wrongs of ROTF and in fact was just the same old Sam crap. There are awesome parts in it when the autobots fight the deceptions but there's NOT enough of it. I don't want to see humans fighting deceptions! If giant robots were real and I used my AR on one it would laugh at me and then squish me. I don't give an f about Sam getting a job (although malkovich was excellent sans ticklefast with bb). Why couldn't they have done some character development of some transfomers? It's not called: HUMANS 3 Dark of the Moon... I know there's some devout g1 fans out there that see my point or am I crazy? I so badly wanted to like it after ROTF...
