HOWEVER, in the series immediately following All hail megatron, they went for a weird hybrid g1/movie style. this didn't last long, as it was not very well received, And has slowly edged back into a more more pure G1 style. there are some movie influences, like Bumblebee trading in his Volkswagen alt mode for a camaro ( this happens in the comic After he becomes the new autobot leader, and decides he needs to be taller) Anyways, the IDW g1 series reading order Starts with

after Maximum Dinobots, the self titled "Transformers" series starts, and that is the current run.
The whole thing is one story-line, they just broke the earlier parts up into 4-5 issue miniseries.
The occasional "bad movie hybrid" art aside, it's a GREAT series.
LAST STAND OF THE WRECKERS is a must read. if nothing else, read that. if you'll read it all, you'll get to LSOTR eventually.

Regarding what happened to Kup
Anyone else curious about what's going to happen to him in the long run? He goes into the past, near the origin of the Dead universe to stop the zombie bots in infestation. I had THOUGHT this was non-canon/ a one-off, until galvatron starts talking about it in the last issue of heart of darkness. this might be kinda cool.

Thanks bro! I never knew the designs were hybrid, I'm not feeling it when I first saw it. But I did feel the same way with the Bayformers but ended up loving the design after all. I'll pick up the books thanks for the info.

Nope, nothing fishy going on there im just as surprised by the response as everyone else, just a tiny bit more to go and the reserve is met too.

I get my DMK Optimus yesterday and finished it in 8 hours. It's a extremely cool figure. Some parts are really fragile and broken but I glued them. Now I have a really good movie optimus. I bought a 1/35 model base and a transformers logo to display it. Cannot wait

I almost bought Shockwave form DOTM the other day but I thought there was a chance that a bigger and better Ver maybe made soon... So Im waiting on that one...
Which is why im waiting for Takara's Masterpiece of this one,along with Sentinel prime.No date set yet as far as i know though.

Bad news for UK collectors of DOTM toys,
Kapow Toys have posted on Facebook they won't be continuing to support the lines because of continual issues with getting stock from Hasbro UK who seem to expect a small, independent retailer to be able to order in the same quantities as chains like TRU
Factor in the lack of new waves being offered and it's yet another example of Hasbro UK not knowing their arse from their elbow.
There's a toy show in Guangzhou, China on the 21st where TFC are showing some stuff so fingers crossed that Bonecrusher, Mixmaster and the fully combined Devastator are finally revealed.
One new thing about the TFC Devastator has already emerged and that's the gun Devastator will have....it's a combiner made from the individual Constructicons weapons!
