The only thing this DMK needs is the blaster cannons though.

For me, it's more cartoon and artwork released to promote the toys primarily. If I wanted accuracy to the toys, then I would just stick with the original figures I never read much of the comic as a kid, so that doesn't matter to me so much. I'm also OK with a mix, but the TFC version seems to be more of the "take the spirit of G1 and create a whole new thing" rather than trying to be all that accurate to the old cartoon, toy, comic, or whatever. The head is a major concern for me, as that's gonna be a focal point of the character and can make or break a likeness in Transformers just like in Hot Toys or anything else. Having said that, we still haven't seen the final product painted up, and maybe that will help to change my mind.

Yeah, I'm with you, but I guess when I saw that IDW pic of Devastator - which apparently this is based on - I was pretty much sold. I'm still not 100% on the head, but I like it enough to get the first one, so far.

I'd still like to see an optional v-shaped chest piece, though. Maybe it'll come with one of the two unseen bots...

Hey Encline did you have any problems with your Sentinel Prime constantly falling over backwards? Mine seems like he's always drunk.

The kit should of come with all his arsenal like the movie at his price tag But seems like he's still worth it from the people who owns it. Maybe a weapons kit will be available in the future

Just wanted to do up a couple comparison pics, because now you have me thinking as well...

Looking at these now, I can see where you're coming from. I don't mind the extra bulkiness in the arms, but it would have been nice if the torso piece was more accurate.

I dunno, I still like it enough not to cancel or anything, but yeah, not perfect...

Woah that looks way cool! I think LED'S are overused these days, but in the right hands they can look awesome.

The new series by IDW. Infiltration, escalation, infestation, etc. as well as the current ongoing series, though he's stepped down as leader of the autobots. Bee is currently the leader there. Tho Optimus is still taking faces.

And All hail megatron is a must read as well.

Thanks, I believe the last time I read a TF comic was the first series from dreamwave. The comics you mentioned are G1? Is the paperback already released?
