Just bought a loose but mint Takara MP-04 Optimus and trailor from a craiglister nearby pretty cheap I think. This will be my second transformer since as a kid..other being Leader Bumblebee I repainted.

Fantastic news I was never in doubt they were being made, but I can't wait to see the pics, especially of Mixmaster, he has always been my fave Constructicon. Hopefully we will get confirmation of the chest wing too

Yeah, I hope so too! That seems to be a main element missing from the pics we've seen.

So couple questions...

I've got a MISB MP Megatron that's been sitting in my closet for a while now. Always meant to open him but never got around to it. Now that we have a baby on the way I should probably sell him (no orange plug or anything like that) - what should I ask/get for him?

Also, this has been bugging me for a while now - bcm77, who's that guy in your sig?

Check ended eBay auctions for the going rate for MP Megs. He doesn't seem to go for very much, sadly. You may also want to open him up to see if he's got any space rust on his feet and back metal parts.

I think that guy in BCM's avatar is one of the old Dr. Whos?

Karamazov is correct. The guy in my sig is an old Doctor Who namely Tom Baker who was the 4th incarnation of the character and also the longest running as his run was from 1974-81.

they've designed a new one, and will be including it with heavy labor. or you can contact them to get a replacement.

Something tells me they'll also have taken note of the demand for the Devastator chest wing and it'll be included with Mixmaster even though it's not on the IDW art that they've based their Devastator on.

With the number of 3rd party groups around as well as 3D printing companies like Shapeways I think it's inevitable one will be made if TFC don't include it with Mixmaster.

I have a few others - Henkei Red Alert, United Tracks and United Grapple - as well as Classics Wheeljack and the others from that wave on the way from BBTS, but this will remain the display for a bit.

When I get Exgraver I will also be getting that "Growing Pains" head/gun set so I can switch up United BB into Goldbug.

Had his career taken a different path I think he could have been a successful comedian, many of his funniest lines in the show were ad-libbed and he's just as funny when he's being himself, his DVD commentaries are amazing.

Nice pics of your collection btw, I still want to get the PE Reflector at some point but it will likely have to wait until I've completed TFC Devastator.

I was also going to get United Bumblebee so I could turn him into Goldbug but I'm expecting iGear to do a variant of their Bumblebee somewhere along the way so I think I'll hang on for that one.

Yeah, I kind of bought BB on a whim, fully expecting a nice G1 version from iGear at some point.

I'm glad I got him though, since they announced that 3rd party upgrade set.

I wasn't going to buy the Ultimate Optimus Prime but since I had a coupon and $10 off I did. I wanted a Prime with a trailer, I'll keep it in vehicle mode next to my Buster Prime and DMK Prime once I build it.
