lol. Nah, that's not it. We each have our own independent "expense accounts" we each can buy whatever we like, so long as the money comes from those accounts, and the other person can't say anything about it.
i can put whatever money i can into that account, after I've paid my share of the bills, and put away the amount i agreed to put up for the wedding from each check ( for the record, 80$) .
I've done all that, got about 70$ left. I CAN afford it, But I'm wondering how long till the next insecticon bills, as well as the next Hercules piece, PLUS I've got flex-payments from sideshow in two weeks.
Not to mention, she got her wedding gift today( Ipad2). I'd be in the clear every way imaginable. That's not the problem. The problem is, Too much at once :/

I've got the original Unicron that I bought on clearance for like $10 years ago... It's probably "good enough", despite this one being more G1 accurate. I'm not THAT big of a TF fan to justify this new one.

Yea Ironhide is still hard to find right now. I've got one, and I've actually only seen about three of them in stores.

I noticed in my area that the shelves are empty with the DOTM toys. But I went to TRU last night and found 2 Ironhide with the buy one get the second 50% off plus I had another $15 off. Sucks that they charge $52 for a leader class. The other is for my bro in law who also collects.

The Takara version has no improved paint apps as far as i know.

Walmart LC is $45 and when TRU advertise $45 our local TRU drops it to $45 then back to $52. How much is a LC in the UK?

When converted into dollars (if you can ever find one to buy that is):
$65 to $75 depending on where you shop, or rather where you might find one by some miracle.

Not for nothing..but why not paint him? I dont think the takara is any different..but even if they did put on a better paint app, it would still be crying for a complete overhaul...that thing is dying to be fully painted.

That is a cheaper option yes,but i don't have the patience to paint such an advanced toy,1/6 figures i do from time to time because it's fairly easy,but TF is just too much for my patience.

The only thing that bothers me about ironhide is the blue legs,the black/grey parts are fine as they are,im not expecting better paint apps on takara's version,only black legs and that is all i want different.
