Looks like I'll be making a trip to the toy store tomorrow

It's funny, I find flaws in some of the first wave of RRs, but it looks like they put all the good stuff into Prime, a wise choice in my book cuz he's the one I love, but funny how they screw the others out of the best designs.

Wow, is that all you did to him? The one I have needs a LOT more work than that.

The paint is absolutely horrendous on him. The two that were in the store both had really sloppy paint aps, but the worst part is that they barely had any blue paint on the sides of his head, giving him an odd mohawk look, along with ugly gold colored eyes. I almost didn't recognize your pics as the same toy! I still haven't taken mine out of the package yet in hopes that I stumble across one with a better paint job before the receipt expires.

I also noticed that the Bumblebee Robot Replicas I see in stores now have metallic blue windows, whereas the one I bought has really ugly black windows. What gives? I can't win with these.

These busts are awesome!!

The only thing that bugs me is the fact that Bumblebee was only $10 cheaper than Grimlock eventhough Grimlock is at least twice the size.

I picked up wave 2 of Robot Replicas today at Wal-Mart. Prime is definitely the best of all 6 figures out so far, but I'll be picking up a second to try out a custom paint job on as there are some points that could be improved. I'll post pictures of the group over the weekend.

I picked up Wave 2 yesterday and I agree that Prime is definitely the best of all of the six that have been released.
