I'm not digging MP-10 really, hate his feet and cab windows the most but, i will get him if there is a deal to be had or he hits TRU.

Got some cheap Ikea shelves up the other day, decided to put some of my TF collection up.

Great set up Valfar! :rock

how tall is that Takara Hybrid Prime?

Nice KO BCM. :p

Tempted to get one and take some paint to it?... ;)

Concept MP-12 Masterpiece Ultra magnus pics are starting to surface. it's a kitbash by the designer.. made with G1 magnuss parts. anyone seen this yet?

Yeah, I was looking at that the other day. Looks like pretty early design work, but it's nice that they're THINKING about it, at least.

MP-10 looks good - less "stylized" looking in these latest pics, but not good enough to warrant a purchase from me. However, if they did an accurate Ultra Magnus using that mold, I'd be hard pressed not to get it...

If Warpath isn't quite doing it for you, I suggest you check out the extra weapons a guy at TFW has made available via Shapeways,
https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/347524-sunlinks-armory-8.html

Interesting stuff, I'm going through his thread now.

I like the Mega Man weapons idea, but I don't think I'd display him like that. I think maybe some more traditional weapons might look good, even though he doesn't really need one...

For those wondering about MP-10's scale:

DSC02015.jpg

Not bad with Rodimus, but still too big for Grimlock. I'll stick with Faith Leader for now...

Like I said though, with Ultra Magnus armour, the scale would work, I think.

Some rumours on TFW2005 about a possible new MP Megatron, MP Soundwave, and some other stuff...

Pretty interesting. I'd love a scaled down/more cartoon-accurate MP Megs, for sure...

The more I see of MP-10, the more I like him. If there's a Hasbro release I'll pick him up. I like how he scales with the Classics figures too, and that the trailer is the perfect size to carry the car ones around. Even better is that the Spike figure is in scale with them, that's a nice little extra.

so I thought this little piece of info from a member of seibertron.com was interesting. I haven't seen it said here so thought I'd share and see if anyone else has heard.

I was unaware that a leader Blackout was coming

They're talking out of their ass, he was never announced.

Pretty awesome pic, there.

I still think Faith Leader scales better with MP Grimlock and the Classics/Henkei Autobots, though. And I still prefer the blockier design of MP-1/Faith Leader. Something still seems "off" with this design - I think it's the chest and waist area.

Of course, underlying all that is the, what, $250 price tag? Plus shipping, too... :(

I dig it. I still prefer the MP01 mold Faith Leader has, but I think this one will be closer in scale to the Alts I'll have him posed with. In Ra's 2nd pic, he looks like the other Classics Autobots are just little children hanging around with him. Even if that was sometimes accurate to the cartoon (or more accurate considering the relative size of a Mac truck to a sedan), it's just too much for me.

I agree. Faith Leader just being a touch shorter than MP-10 works so much better with the Classics Autobots.

I do wonder though if Hasbro is gonna make an honest effort to keep the newer MPs in the same scale. Rodimus and MP10 are roughly the same scale, right? If they do another Megs, another Starscream, a Sounwave, etc. that only really fit in scale with those guys, then I would probably like to have this figure to keep on display with them (just not with Classics figures, or some of the other 3rd party stuff coming out).

I think this was an attempt to make the size somewhat standard. I read that they (Tak reps) said in a fan Q&A on Twitter yesterday that Megatron 2.0 is being considered.

just bit the bullit and ordered TFC exgraver £65 shipped so not too bad! got the reprolabels for him ordered too! just wondered what is this about a new digger arm that ive heard comes with the second robot that is for exgraver? is this true? thanx, paul

There was a design fault with the original shovel arm that caused part of it to crack although I've not had any problem with mine.

So TFC decided to offer a replacement with Heavy Labor or you can also contact them via Twitter to get one....pretty good customer service I think.

MP-10 looks OK but like Rodimus it's too big for my display so there's no need for it.

I got 2 shipping confirmation messages from iGear today, one for Dirge and another for Arcee who I ordered this morning :yess:

I Think the MP Line is gonna be a yearly thing now

anyway the Figure looks impressive in pics, i had it on preorder since July so i'm expecting to receive mine by next week :D

Same Size, Yes. Same scale, NO.

Hot Rod is about 25% bigger than he should be in relation to prime. Look at his vehicle mode, in comparison to primes vehicle mode.

I realized "Hot Rod" was too big, but figured the "Rodimus" Incarnation would be about the same size as Prime, considering he grew so much during that transformation.

nope. both modes are really too big. compare his vehicle modes.
And the figure CAN "grow" a little taller for Rodimus prime as well.

Prime should be about 1/2 a head taller than Rodimus if memory serves.

Then again, scale was never really a consistant thing in Transformers.
Even then.

Jetfire should be as large/ larger than Grimlock.
Grimlock should be bigger than Prime
Prime should be bigger than Ironhide/ ratchet and Rodimus
Those three should be bigger than just about everyone else.

also, speaking of Prime, I no longer am interested in MP-10, unless he gets a TRU ex release for 50$.

The reason why? these comparison pictures with MP-01.

reduced articulation does not a better figure make.

I know. It's a major disappointment. but my wallet is happy, so that's something.

Additionally, while we haven't seen in-hand shots of revoltech prime yet, a new revo was announced earlier today that needs the guns more than prime.

revoltech Wall-E.

It's more about how the articulation works, IMO. MP01 could hardly take advantage of those hip and knee joints due to his heavy, diecast lower legs.
Likewise the fingers on mine could never get a firm grip on his gun. It was always wobbly because of his loose fingers.

But I was honestly never that thrilled with MP01. I always found him to be too heavy and cumbersome to get any really good poses. I like what I see so far from MP10.
