That Prime is one of my all time fave customs man, bloody amazing job! Wish i could afford him.

as awesome as that Arcee is... there is just something about the head that I don't like. It allmost looks like a transplant of an actual G1 head with soft detailing onto a Generations figure body with more detail. that alone has kept me from getting it...
That's kind of how I feel about those IGear coneheads. They go to so much effort to provide an awesome, complex modification of the Starscream mold, then give them those simplistic, crappy faces.

A lot of Transformers seem to be like that, though. I feel kind of the same way about the official MP seekers, too. They're nice enough, but they don't really "pop". MP Rodimus seems kind of bland, too.

The official MP seekers could use some work on the faces, I agree, but at least they have some level of complexity (and personality with the 2nd face). Those iGear faces. . .I hate to say it, but I'm gonna say it--GoBot-esque. :panic:

I think iGear possibly missed an opportunity with the faces as they could have given them a bit of extra personality to help make them look that bit more different from the official versions of the mold.

Maybe they could still do it and release extra heads like they did for the MP Prime mold and Kup?

That said I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with how they look, they're not Bayformers so the faces don't need to be complex in appearance.

That's very true, especially with Starscream and Skywarp.

There's been several vague hints from Hasbro about an Arcee in the last year so that may finally turn up :dunno

Me? I'm already covered :)

More pics soon!

Gipetto0812,
No problem, glad to help as always!

CONGRATS mate !!! :hi5:

I love this fig and it's great to be able to add her to the 86 movie cast. I also love the use of metal. Gives the figure a bit of weight but without any negative effect on the stability. Very impressive given the tiny feet and high heels !!!

You got WFC in yet buddy?

Thanks! :hi5:

One thing that suprised me was the poseability and how well the figure is balanced despite the presence of diecast and those high heel feet which I was anticipating problems with but it's one of the most fun 3rd party items I've got when it comes to the range of articulation.

I also got Dirge yesterday who's the same quality as the other 2. Were it not for the weather being so awesome I would have took some pics but I wanted to make the most of it whilst it lasts and was out for most of the day.

I've had WFC a few days now so I'll get some practice in on the multiplayer and we can have a game during the week.

Also, the fugly Rodimus face doesn't help things. He looks much cooler when you give him the Hot Rod face.
.

So true! I don't understand why all the promotional material shows him with the fugly face when the other looks so much nicer. The Roimus face is way to narrow and long. The Hot Rod face looks like the original character model.

Great, iconic pose there. :clap I also really kind of want this figure now.

Pretty cool, but Magnus looks a bit on the thin side. Is that the Classics Prime repaint with the 3rd party upgrade kit from awhile back?

Yes.

I really like what FansProject have done in terms of it's design but I don't think City Commander is the be all and end all Ultra Magnus toy.

Right now it's the best option but if iGear came up with a more cartoon accurate armor/trailer for their Ultra Leader then I'd upgrade like a shot.

I'd also like a scaled down version of MP Hot Rod/Rodimus because the Henkei Hot Rod/FP Protector combo is only adequate....the MP captures the look of the cartoon so much better.

New info on maketoys Giant. He's going to be released as 3 2-packs for about 140$ each, and is going to be painted in G2 Yellow.

anyone seen the pictures of the maketoys Figure of the Fallen?

Compare the unpainted guy in the back corner with the comic book version of the Fallen

bcm, I hear you on MP Rodimus. I displayed him with my Alt and other (non-Optimus/Megatron) MP figures a couple days ago, and he's just way too big.

I'm not feeling the MakeToys Devy at all, honestly.

Although the scale is what kills it for me the way MP Rodimus captures the cartoon aesthetic is perfect and I'd like a scaled down version of that mold for Hot Rod as much as anything as the Classics/Henkei mold is showing it's age a bit now.

It may be cheaper but the MakeToys Devastator is also smaller than TFC's and has more partsforming so is an easy pass....construction vehicles shouldn't be crappy little Scouts.

Consider me intrested in that figure of The Fallen.

Arcee looks better in those renders but I'm not sure I need another version of the character.
