where did you get rodimus from?

There was a local collectors show this weekend. Never did see him at toysrus, forgot what the retail was. But I got it for $80. This is my $160 haul from the show

I hear the Takara version is of much higher quality. Well, the second release anyway.

The TRUs up here in Canada still have quite a few Rodimuses (Rodimi?) for sale, but I keep passing him up. If he was a bit smaller I'd probably get him though.

Thanks man, damn I never did see Rodimus or Grimlock in my local TRU. But when I called TRU during the time it was released they told me they sell fast and alot of people come in looking for them. BTW how much is the Rodimus at your TRU?

Don't you hate it when you see something but don't buy it and regret the following day that you should of bought it? I saw a human alliance Jazz MISB for $22 at the collectors show.

After seeing that HA Jazz makes me want to finish up with my HA collection. But is it just me that thinks the deluxe Jazz looks better than the HA Jazz? Something about the HA Jazz legs doesn't look right.

Never have, really, though I suppose Optimus, Bumblebee and Megatron have sort of grown on me. Shockwave wasn't too bad either.

I snagged the only Ratchet at my Target today
overall it's a pretty nice figure, but it is small. I hope they come out with e voyager down the road. but it's cool to now have all the current autobots from the Prime series.

Found out that the eBay seller ended up not every having the FE Optimus at the time which is why they were avoding me fro just about a month until I reandomly got a tracking number last week. And how do I know this? they're located in OH yet my figure is coming from Canada judging by the tracking number they gave me for Canada post. It sucks to have waited so long for it, but luckily I'll finally have it and can returns the RID version to Target along with RID BB after I snagg both his cannons

I also saw the movie Trilogy Optimus and that guy is small too. The paint apps look pretty good though. Reminds me a bit of the premium series figures from the first movie. I might go back and get it after I take a look at the photo gallery on seibertron.clom

I was tempted to get the RID Arcee, but the changes are just too minor to warrent buying another version of her.

It's been a while since I had a G1 purchase, I finally got MP Rodimus Prime. Is it worth getting the Takara version? Oh and I picked up another TF deluxe for $3 again

I just snagged a voyager Megatron off of eBay for $26 shipped, I want to keep one boxed. Can't believe my local TRU is selling it for $30 and BBTS raised it to $35

I guess we'll see. Didn't see anything at Walmart today, but I'm sure they'll show up sooner or later.

Congrats! Yeah, I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's a great figure. I've actually got the Takara version on the way (wish I had preordered it, oh well...).

Yeah he's coming and he'll be voyager-sized. You can preorder the Japanese version on Robotkingdom and TF Source, probably other sites too.

I don't think we've heard anything, though I've been neglecting the MP speculation thead at TFW lately...

I think everyone assumes it'll be the next Prime, which isn't a bad guess.

Got my FE optimus today!

man I LOVE it! so much better than the RID Optimus. but I must give the RID version credit, it's truck mode is better though I will be returning it to Target. no need for it anymore. The FE version does it for me

Yea i love the movie designs as well. I LOVE G1 but i also love just about anything that has to do with transformers

Yea Takra Rodimus is more G1 accurate but the TRU version is accurate to the G1 toy i don't care too much since I only payed $70 compared to Takara's what was it $250?

Yea I agree, HA Sideswipe is my #2 favorite with Baricade coming in 3rd. i like the twins as well. Their characters aren't all that great, but their HA figures were pretty awesome. I wish there was an HA of some TF that came with Rosie that way I'd have all the characters

yea man RID Voyager Megatron is definitely my favorite to come out of the RID series. TRU is crazy with what they want for these though. $14.99 for a deluxe! They didn't have any voyagers so idk how much they wanted for those. no sign up or anything but I'm sure it'll be at least $24.99

With Hasbro canceling so many items, I don't want to take the chance that they show a Voyager Ratchet then it gets canceled and I'm stuck paying a crazy price like i did with FE Optimus (though I think it's totally worth it for him)

I fell like Ratchet got the short end when it came to movie figures. 3 movies and his voyager never changed mold, just paint. The deluxe is a nice pretty accurate version of Ratchet but it's so small. It would've been awesome to have that mold with a bit more detail in a voayger size figure.

With the recent scans of the Takara RID figures, I'm not holding my breath for anything that looks amazing now. If Takara's Megatron does look better than HAsbros, I'll order it and return my Hasbro one, but again, it's good to have one of the versions so I don't get stuck with nothing and having to pay top dollar for him

Good review there man. I think you hit all the points. Like you said, and I now know for sure, RID Optimus really is no substitute for a TF Prime Optimus. FE Optimus is the only way to go.

In regards to the next US MP figure, i hope it's Optimus. I'd really like to get that one since it seems like they're putting chrome pieces back on son of their TFs. US MP Grimlock and Hot Rod had chrome pieces so i'd hope that this time around, Optmius will have chrome smokestacks, grill, rims and whatever other parts that should be chromed out.

Got my TP Megatron today. He is great. The colors look much better in hand than in the pics. The weakest part is the arm cannon though. Wish it was more cartoon accurate and less gimmiky. Maybe a 3rd party will make a better one. Also wish he had red eyes and not purple eyes.

I just saw the Takara version, yeah I am going to have to spring for that. And hold down the button Craw then pull the blades forward to give Megs a more accurate look.
