Hello everyone im Matthew I would like to know if anyone out there has a broken Maquette of Optimus Prime i would like the parts to make a custom Optimus out of it

and all I think is how amazing this looks from every angle!!! He looks great even with his back turned!! Definitely buy for me.

Just checking it against some pics from G1 related comics and cartoon, and I think it looks pretty good. I thought I saw some colours pics of the MP Soundwave, but cant find it now.

Once we see proper full colour pics with all the paint detailing, I reckon you'll change your mind and get him. Plus with all the cassette tapes you can get with him too, I think overall it will be too cool to pass up (at least for me)

As for whether I'll change my mind, it's just not going to happen as I still don't like the redesigned feet and am not that bothered about the cassettes.

I already have a better looking Rumble & Frenzy, prefer the Device Label Ravage ( or one of the better KO's of it ) and even though it looks great it makes no sense to pay out £140 just for Laserbeak

Had the Fans Toys project gone ahead I would have bought Soundwave and the inevitable Soundblaster repaint but now that's not to be I've simply struck both from the list of characters I want, my collection is fine without Megatron so it'll be OK without those two.

shows the Hasbro Masterpiece Thundercracker from SDCC!!! It looks like a repaint of the MP-11 Starscream, which is nice. I probably wont get it though, but I'll wait to see it at TRU or something and make my mind then.

Does this mean Takara will issue one too? Or does hasbro just get the molds they want and issue the characters they want?

MP Thundercracker is getting a US release but it's cancelled in the UK, I don't know about Australia though.

So far Takara have just released MP11 as Starscream and announced Sunstorm.

With their market being more collector oriented than Hasbros I expect Skywarp and Thundercracker will happen in time as collectors who bought all 3 of the original Seeker mold will likely want to do the same with the newer version.

Takara have spent a lot on developing new MP molds lately and I'm sure the Lamborghini license wasn't cheap so they'll want to recoup the cash and repaints are an easy way of doing so eg

Cheers Just got into Hot Toys this year, and got into the MP series only after hearing about MP Soundwave! So definitely been spending way too much money this year!

But as everyone know here, it is damn addictive!! Lucky I never got the Avengers bug! Just waiting on my Boba to arrive.

I just got back into HT recently, mainly because I wanted the Deluxe Jack Sparrow and forthcoming Luke Skywalker but I enjoyed the Avengers so much that I decided I wanted to get the whole team....I'm currently halfway there on pre-orders.

I'm in a transitional phase with TF collecting, anything I have from the various incarnations of the Classics is being sold to fund more HT figures and I'm only intrested in selected Takara Masterpieces ( mainly Sideswipe & Red Alert as I already have Grimlock ) and 3rd party figures with a strong G1 aesthetic such as iGear's PP series or Mini Warriors.

I was just about to order the MP Rodimus along with my MP-10 and MP-11, but the seller confirmed they only had the version 1.0 with all the QC issues, so I passed.

With Hot Toys, there are so many upcoming figures that I'll get - DX07 Luke, DX10 T-800, DX11 Joker 2.0, DX12 TDKR Batman, City Hunter Predator.

I still would love to get an Iron Man Mark VI and a War Machine, but man they are expensive!!! Hopefully Hot Toys re-issues or updates them

I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum. Getting back into TFs in a big way and only keeping two HT figures - original movie Pred and T2 Arnie. Still getting Sideshow Joes and I will get the odd HT figure if it's really special.

I only have a couple left to sell - MJ Thriller, Berserker Pred and Wolf Cleaner Kit Exclusive. If anyone's got some Telemocha BW figs (namely the larger Megatron, Waspinator and Tigatron), 10th Anniversary Rattrap, Henkei Dinobot or a few others I need hit me up, because I'm up for trading too!

Another Megatron is likely, Takara could make a new one to go with MP10 and there's a couple of other 3rd party ones in the works but I'm not sure what scale they are, I'd like one that's a bit taller than Faith Leader.

As for other HT's I'm focusing on the Avengers for now but also have the new version of the Iron Man Mark I pre-ordered.....good thing my ebay sales have been going so well otherwise I'd never have been able to pay for all the new stuff.

I've now got my order in with Kapow Toys for MMC's Cyclops as well which I'm really looking forward to getting as it appears to be one of the best 3rd party releases yet.

A G1 Shockwave in the same scale would be my ultimate version of the character but I like the steampunk designs enough that I can find space for at least 1 of them on my shelves although I may also get the Seekers.

I got a message from Kapow Toys today confirming my MMC Cyclops is on the way so I should have that in the morning

I've watched a video review several times to get the transformation sequence right and I'll hopefully get one without the loose right elbow that several people have reported although MMC are issuing replacements so I'll be covered if mine has the issue.

KO and the rest of the other TFP including Voyagers Bulkhead and Screamer is easily found in my area. Glad they are stocking them unless scalpers are on summer break right now. But I think I saw KO on clearance at BBTS for $9
