I love the idea and the pics so far of FP Stunticons. I think they will likely be too cost prohibitive for me but that doesn't damper my enthusiasm to see how they turn out.

I don't know what sources the guy I got the info about upcoming releases from has but consider this,

I asked him if he could make me a custom MP Sunstreaker if an official one didn't happen ( he's made some amazing G1 Masterpieces including Sunstreaker ) and he said "I could do that, but the official one will probably be better".

So I was like "What official one?"

He then mentioned Takara's deal with Lamborghini being 2 years and that the plan was to release an original mold Sunstreaker towards the end of that deal.

If he was talking crap why would he have said that when he could have just taken my money?

A Sunstreaker head would be difficult since there is such limited space when Sideswipe transforms... unless... How about Headmaster Sunstreaker like in the IDW run?

Not heard of that one before,where can i get it?
But i totally forgot about a simple thing though,i have the classics sunstreaker so i could just use that head,might be a little small for the MP body but it will do.

I meant for an alternate head, I could see a third party doing one, of someone making a Shapeways head.

it's not a toy. IDW is the current comic book continuity. Sunstreaker became a headmaster in that series for a little while.

Sorry i have only paid attention to the cartoon that i watched as a kid and have collected these things for only a couple of months now so im still fairly new.I thought he was talking about a third party company specializing in heads when he said headmasters.

Prime, Prowl, & Jazz would be the ONLY autobots I'd ever need in MP form. If MP Jazz were to ever be announced, I honestly would see the rest of my autobot MP's.

Unless there's a drastic shift in VW's policy Jazz is one of the least likely Autobot cars to be made as a Masterpiece.

MP Prowl??? Holy crumbs! One of my all time very favorite TFs. Like Verbal, him and Jazz are at the top for me, along with Hound.

Porsche & Lamborghini are indeed part of the VW Group.

But Lamborghini only have tractors in their past history.

Porsche and VW started out making vehicles for the Third Reich.

VW seem to consider this a VERY big deal even today and it's why the "no war toys" policy is in place that prevented Alternators New Beetle Bumblebee and Porsche Boxster Jazz from getting made.

So we can all make fun of them for still having a conscience over something that happened so long ago but unless they throw their principles out the window in the name of cold, hard cash MP Jazz, Bumblebee or Cliffjumper won't happen officially.

If the 3rd parties are smart they'll start to fill in any gaps in the Masterpiece line.

MP Jazz would be a perfect project for iGear or Fans Toys as they're the two that're the best at recreating the G1 aesthetic.

I honestly couldn't be happier with this news, Takara are on a roll & long may it continue I seriously cannot wait to see the teasers for these 2 I never did own Prowl as a kid...I've since bought him in the Takara re-issue version but I've never physically had one out of the box so this will be the perfect way to rectify that.

I did have Smokescreen though.

Anyway I'm waffling as I'm so excited!!! YAY!!!!!
