Great review of Quakewave, i watched Optibotimus's first but, was not nearly as good as your review, that guy's voice stresses me out.

For me, it's because it looks sort of pinkish. I'm not gonna waste time complaining, but I could see how it can turn off some people.

Oh yeah I'm not looking to start ructions over it just curious as to me it's really no big deal at all & I think it looks right especially since that's how it was on the original toy anyway...maybe not THAT pink but close enough

On a different note I'm looking to do my first order with Robot Kingdom & I was just wondering if anyone who has ordered from them within the UK if they mark packages down at all??

For me Masterpiece figures should take the best elements of both the toy and the cartoon design, and combine them in a way that looks like the figure can exist in real life.

I guess the translucent hand and gun look too "toylike" for me. I guess that's a non-issue with the second run, though... I still wonder if maybe Takara will do one, though.

Robot Kingdom is great like that. I've never heard of anyone getting charged customs in either the UK or Canada.

Yeah, that's a good question, actually. I'm sure there are comparison pics out there but I'm wondering how he looks with MP-11 and MP-13, specifically.

It's weird - my Faith Leader looks too small next to MP Soundwave, but just right next to MP Starscream (and Grimlock and Sideswipe, for that matter)... but MP Starscream and MP Soundwave look fine together. I guess it's the intakes that stick up on his shoulders which gives a certain effect...

Ideally, I guess, Shockwave should be the same height as Soundwave, or at least fall between him and Starscream. I wonder if he'd look too small if he was the same height (at the "shoulders") as MP Starscream.

I'm the same the MP's should be the closest rendition we can have of the original source...just bigger & better

I need to pre-order MP Bluestreak but my usual supplier (Kapow Toys) have already sold all their allocation so looking for another option & as RK seem well recommended on here thought I'd give them a shot

Don't think anything has been announced yet but I would expect in the next couple of months...I think Hasbro might hope to capitalize on all the word of mouth from the Takara version & get it on shelves ASAP before people lose interest in waiting & order from Takara direct.

But this is Hasbro we are talking about so it could be anything really.

I don't have any iGears so although their Faith Leader looks good with MP Grimlock, I'll just settle for Grimlock being a little smaller than he should when next to official MP's starting with Rodimus and above.

WE should know by botcon, or toyfair as to the when. DOn't expect him before july, however.

American toy retailers are not in the mood to buy new things this early in the year. they're still sitting on christmas restocks. they need time to get space.

I don't know, i would like to think Galvatron was bigger then Megatron so, Rodimus should be the same height or a little taller then Prime.

Yeah, I'm of two minds now.

I think I'll keep my Faith Leader as he looks just fine with the Autobot MPs - in fact, as mentioned above, he looks much better with MP Grimlock.

But I think I'm really going to have to track down MP-10 now, too. I mean, I don't think I will display him next to Soundwave much, if ever, but it's nice to have that option.

I still want to believe we'll see another run of 'em at TRU - why wouldn't they? But maybe I'd just want to get the Takara version anyway... ah, what to do?

Rodimus is fine actually.It's nice that you can change him into Hot Rod which is smaller too.

Yeah, I think it can't really pull off the Hot Rod gimmick though... I'd like to see a proper MP Hot Rod that was scaled better to Sideswipe and (presumably) the other Autobot cars.

Yeah, he'll never be Masterpiece Hot Rod to me so that'll never be an issue. I wouldn't be against an actual MP Hot Rod, but if I came up with a wishlist of 20 characters, I wouldn't waste one on it.
