Not sure I showed this or not. Made this years ago. I apologize if I showed it already.
edstuff, that's cool, but what is it? Scraplet?
Yep I'm definitely on the look out for an MP10 now.
As I mentioned before I managed to break my Faith Leader so really could do with an MP10 so I don't break him anymore
Yeah, I'm very careful with my Faith Leader.
I think I'll still end up keeping him, though. He just looks too good with MP Grimlock. Maybe I'll have them off in a Detolf with the rest of the Autobots with MP-10, if/when I get him.
I can probably trade for him - I'm trying to unload a lot of stuff right now, just gotta find the right guy to deal with!
I'm still hoping we see him in the UK but the longer we are waiting the less likely that is ever going to happen so I may have to bite the bullet & pay Ebay prices
Per Ebay it seems that Takaras MP10 seems to go for US$30-50 more than Hasbros. Im not sure if Takaras is worth that much more but I will say the Hasbro version is excellent. If I had to choose Id go Hasbro mainly because of the more cartoony colors and painted eyes, screams more cartoon which is what Im looking for. Its just as good quality wise as Takaras so I cant justify the markup. Either way you will be happy with him!
Isn't Takara's closer to the actual MSRP though? That must count for something.
I'll have to look at both again, but usually I prefer Takara decos...
Someone asked about a shot of MP-9, MP-10, and MP-12 is vehicle mode. Here's one I took, but no trailers.
They look pretty sweet lined up like that.
Do think Hot Rod is looking a little too big compared to the others though.
Neil
Yup, me too. He's good as Rodimus, but we need a smaller version for Hot Rod.
Not before the rest of the '84 and '85 cars, of course (thought I'm sure he will be).
For those who have Soundwave in hand, can you help me out with something?
Check the pic below, his left side of the mouthshield looks to have a little damage.Mine have this, and this pic is not even mine, and it has the same thing.Checked multiple pics and youtube videos and it looks to be a common thing with this.
Any help would be appreciated
Yeah, it's just a little mark from where that part was connected to the plastic "tree" - every single one I've seen has it, including mine. No biggie.
If I wanted to be really OC about MP Soundwave, I could find some "flaws", but mine was pretty good. I only transformed him once, didn't see any scratches or anything, except for some very light, barely noticeable ones on the clear plastic cassette door. Doesn't bother me. These things happen with mass produced pieces, even ones that cost $200 (I think I paid $150, or maybe $160?).
