I'm on my phone, so I'm having trouble linking to the picture, but there is a screencap on the tfw boards from Facebook that shows Toys R Us saying that a limited number were released this morning in conjunction with the SDCC, and they will be available in stores and online again in late August.

Who wants to bet that it will receive a nice price hike when they go back up?

Something really buggy with the TRU website. Finally Acid Storm was up about 20 minutes ago, clicked on the Add to Cart button and then next screen says limited quantity and adjusts the cart to 0! Ridiculous.

That's exactly what happened with Soundwave this morning a couple of times. Yeah, I would guess on a $20 increase or so when they go back up. The limited quantities thing makes sense, since it sold out so ridiculously fast in the middle of the night and was limited to one per account/address(?). Hopefully this will be easier to obtain than Prime was.

I do hate when they pull that. I also remember them hiking up the prices for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics figures. They were $16, but since they were such a hit and sold out really quick, they jacked them up to $20. Thankfully, I was able to get the Optimus before the price hike. Doesn't seem like I'll have the same luck with old Soundwave.

Yeah, the guy I asked at TRU about Soundwave said he had lots of calls this morning asking if they had them in the store.

I found tons of Optimus last year and they even had a pre-order period.

Bovis - August
Talon - Q4
Leo Dux - Sept. 30
Fortis - Nov. 15
Tigris - Q4
Felisaber - Q4

But according to where I PO'd, Bovis is still next month while Talon has been pushed back to October. I wouldn't be surprised if Leo Dux and the rest are pushed back to December or early 2014.

Yes, I will take more pics this week. I had a friend driving it home today. I will pick it up later this week. The box is massive and quite heavy too.

It was ridiculous how people had to get up at 3 or 4 AM to get a tickets to buy the exclusives. This is my 6 time at comic con and I didn't realized it's becoming such a pain to buy exclusives.
