Anyone know where to find a Dual Model Kit Optimus for a good price these days? I had a guy who wanted to sell me one for $70 back in the day but I had to had to back out due to more important matters. Now I can't find one for less than $150.

I think that's the best price you're going to find. That's why I went with the APS Optimus instead.

It's like this dubs. Calling something that is not really all that different from calling you something other than your name, just becuase I feel like it. It could be offensive, racial, homosexual, or just plain mean in nature. It's not your name, and the only reason to do it is just to get a rise out of you. It's still wrong, but I can still do it if I feel like it.

That's essentially what your doing. and technically, it could be construed as stealth trolling. Generally you seem like a pretty level headed guy, so I'm hoping it's not out of malice, but rather thoughtlessness on your part.

Or, more simply, a mistake.

Sorry, but if you continue to misuse terms with clear, unambiguous definitions (knock-off = counterfeit, not unlicensed original creations), then I'm afraid you will be called out on it. And clearly, as DPrime and lerath are suggesting, you are doing this for the purpose of pushing buttons and offending collectors of unlicensed products, pure and simple. You ran off two valuable contributors to this thread recently because of your behavior, and I'm not keen on seeing it happen to others. The one who needs to "deal" with something here is you. If you wish to continue being allowed the privilege of contributing to this thread and forum, then you should consider learning to play nice. Since Silent Bob and theCorsair left this thread, I've about run out of patience with you.

In a nutshell, Dubz, I LIKE your contributions to the thread... and I can even see your point about third party figures, generally. I get the whole intellectual property argument, even though I don't agree with it.

But you just won't stop with the button pushing. You can tell people to "deal with it" but if you know you're just p*ssing people off, it doesn't matter. It might seem like it should be a inconsequential thing to you, but it's obviously not. Whether you agree with our reactions or not is irrelevant; the proper thing to do is stop.

There's a definition for this, by the way, and I'm not talking about "trolling". When it happens in the workplace, you can get fired for it. I don't see why we should have to tolerate it here, either.

Do the right thing, man, and lay off a bit. I'm not saying don't discuss it, just ease up. I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we love seeing your custom work - it's just too bad that your contributions to the thread are diminished by this other, entirely separate issue.

Anyway, just my .02 on the issue.

It doesn't matter if i use a term for something that you might not necessarily use.
It doesn't matter if i call an orange and apple, or a tomarto a tomato, a shoe a glove or a pair a zucchini.
Im not being racist, homophobic, xenophobic or sexist or anything nasty like that, and though i might be factually wrong it is just my choice to call an object that copies another a "KO".
Just as its my choice to wear nothing but black clothes or to drive around in an old VW Beetle or to eat chocolate.
Live and let live, its not hurting anyone and like i said when you think about the grand scheme of things, like our place in the universe it really matters not.

That squabble aside, there has been quite many post and that the question I made earlier didn't get any responses, so I inquire again; Have you had any problems with Soundwave's cassette chest mechanism, when using original or reissue casette-figures? I'm just curious, for like I said, when I tested this, the whole lid got stuck and I had some minor difficulties to get reissue buzzsaw out. It wasn't just one time I tried, but seemed like it didn't really fit all that well.

Maybe I'll give it a go this weekend - there isn't any risk of damage, is there? All the talk about MP-10's issue with the Matrix chamber is getting me worried, I guess!

You may not have been following this thread very carefully, but Dubz's behavior is not new, and not focused on the specific language he is using here. He has run valuable contributing members off due to his attitude, and made this thread unpleasant. He was warned, but refuses to listen, so. . .there are consequences to that. There are rules here that every member must adhere to. If any member thinks he or she can do whatever he/she wants with impunity, well, they're wrong. This is a privately run site and no one has a Constitutional right to do whatever the hell they want to.

I gotcha. Yea I'm slowly customizing my APS Prime. Have articulated fingers, real metal smokestacks. Now it's just a slight amount of painting to do and I'll be satisfied

I actually managed to snag a FE Takara Bulkhead for 39 euros. That's a damn steal. Gorgeous figure too, and I love how intricate and still well thought out it is. Definitely one of my faves!

Congrats Ra88. It really is a nice figure. I was playing around with all my TF Prime figures since I recently got a lot of the Reprolables (Ratchet and Knockouts are a MUST) and Bulkhead has to be one of the nicest Prime figures released
