It must have been a glitch, last time I checked the first three maquettes were sold out, as well at the Rex and Trike dio and the Deino exclusive and I just checked again and these same pieces are sold out...

They don't sell quickly, but they don't take forever either. You don't see these going up for us with gift cards or anything.

125 is the number of exclusive pieces of the Allosaurus vs. Camarasaurus. Even so, there's plenty to go around.

It just seems like more pieces are always opening up..in my previous experiance when something is limited and gets sold out no more appear unless they are 2nd hand.

I'm not complainig really..as long as I get one of them I'm a happy camper. ;)

Think we'll get any updates today ?

Sometimes they do go up for second chance, but that is generally pretty soon after they start shipping. Those are all the pieces people ordered and canceled. That is pretty common with these, but I didn't think it was happening this far out...

According to this week's newsletter... well, there's still no mention of the Allo/Cam. But rest easy, the Spiderman Venomosaurus Rex Comiquette will be unveiled soon. :lol

:dunno I've noticed that too, 30 days out!? :lol

It was a backorder item for a little while, hence the reason it has been listed in the 'coming in 30 days' section and then 'now shipping' when it had been an item that previously shipped months ago. I know, confusing, ha! Backorder items will get listed in those sections of the newsletter from time to alert those awaiting their backordered item to arrive.

I beleive that Sideshow has to have something Marvel or Star Wars in every Newsletter. Even if it's a variant on an already existing statue.:lol I'm hoping they didn't get lazy and just stuck Venoms head on the T-rex maquette body.:lol

That's his new Shane Foulkes Parasaurolphus, built and painted by the man himself. You gotta see this thing, it's gorgeous. :thud:

It's actually based on the appearance of the animal in the graphic novel "Old Man Logan."

I'm ashamed to admit that when I first saw the title of that thread on this board I thought there was another Dinosauria piece out and rushed to the newsletter. :lol I thought venomosaurus sounded like a lame name...

Now that would be a cool bust. A feathered Sinornithosaurus, taxidermy glass eyes, the works. I expect they'd use some kind of dromaeosaur to ensure sales.

A 1/1 Velociraptor bust would be pretty cool..maybe have it looking out of faux foliage ?

I could see mounting that on my wall or desktop..even adding more plants so it looks like the whole animal is hidden in there.

Or make so you add a bit of material so it looks to be coming through your wall !

They could add some hands and a foot as well..def would take away from the big game hunter feeling.. ;)
