Really? You thought it was good? I made it through about 5 minutes and turned it off. AG was a fun and perfect fit for the late 80's, but making it now is pretty dumb. Also, the lame/semi-sad backstory about a divorced single mom was irritating, it was too much like a reality TV show.
Also, for the one event I saw (the first one with the balls) they actually made it easier than the old show by having larger openings... lame.

Just watched it here... I used to love that show and the new one is pretty sweet. And yeah, the girls are hot. 
I'll be watching this one for sure. If anything just to see people struggle against each other.

Yeah I watched the full two hours. I must say, pretty dumb. I really want to like it. I could do without all of the lame howls and taunts. It made it seem really lame.

I could not stop laughing at the male gladiators, especially Wolf. And yes, some of the women are hot!!

Thought it was entertaining. I like Wolf and Hulk Hogan just makes it that much more interesting to watch.

Well of course you could see they had some massive editing going on (they actually had a disclaimer at the end saying "portions that did not affect the outcome may have been editted" or something like that) and some lame scripted lines but I was certainly entertained and thought it was certainly something better and refreshing than other crap reality TV they had on.
And oh yes...Crush is certainly my favorite Gladiator...she's also a MMA fighter...

Anyone ever play AG on original Nintendo? The Wall was a ***** level, I used to hurt my fingers trying to climb it fast enough.

I thought it was great. Some of the events are just brutal compared to the old AG. They look like they're going to die by the time they get to the end of the Eliminator. It's evey bit as cheesy as the old AG, and just as much fun.
And yes, Crush is hot.

THAT'S where I know that guy from. I was racking my brain trying to find out where I know the guy from; thanks for mentioning it. I thought the show was pretty hilarious. It's the same as the old show, just with the Hulkster now. And Helga..OH MAN !!!!!!

This is fun. Not sure I'll watch it every week, but it would be nice to know that something on evenings isn't heartsurgery serious.

I thought it was pretty lame...the contestants with lame backstories, lame gladiators (especially the guys). Even the girls were a bit cheesy...that Fury looked like a man!
We watched the first show and I was purely disappointed. The swinging ball stunt was stupid...the contestants sucked at it. The pyramid is lame. The stupid platform on ropes...man, you would think they could have come up with more interesting games.
This show was meant for the 80s...it should have stayed there.
It is shows like these that are getting interesting TV like Vanished, Invasion, Surface and Journeyman cancelled.
It is so much cheaper for networks and production companies to make reality TV instead of quality serials...pretty sad! Personally, I hope this shows tanks for that very reason!
