Yeah, I watch every week. I knew the mom in red was gonna win, she's tough as nails.
I'm curious to see how the two winners are gonna be as Gladiators next season. They're tiny compared to the others.

Damn, I know I fast forward through a lot of the garbage, but I must just skip the whole flipping episode besides the action
They kept saying the winner would be the next american gladiator but I never took it as they would be a gladiator next season until they said it this week.
Yeah i skipped a lot of the talking watched the events but not so much of the Hulk, I could take some of Leila though.
whats funny is I found out the Toa is the Rocks cousin and also his stunt double. I heard his real name and then I was watching Gridiron Gang the other day and first name for stunts was the guy who is Toa. they were saying his brother was Dave Navarro (From Janes addiction and Red Hot Chilli Peppers) on a show talking about him.

I just think it's going to be really strange seeing them in spandex costumes standing there with all of those larger than life characters. Like kids playing dress up.
yeah but I would seriously hate to have to be on the wall with Evan or hell even hang tough, that guy is going to cause some havoc in those two. The thing is pound for pound that guy is a much better athlete then any of those gladiators. I am not sure Monica will be a huge threat but I wouldn't mind seeing her in a skimpier outfit.

From what I understand, when they say: "The next american gladiator", they don't actually mean on the show. They mean the title as the "winner" of the show.

I sure wouldn't want to go up against her in the joust.
No they flat out say they will be back next year as a gladiators at the end, but thats what i thought the whole season when they said they will be the next american gladiator.

was good back in the day BUTT now... can't remake a classic without fu$#&~!% it up. too commerceal(I can't spell) just like the night rider show I am watching.(jmoo)
To me its pretty much the same as the old one, hell the majority of the events are the old ones. Having the Hulk instead of Zonka is a little annoying but with DVRs it doesn't really matter, but after watching some of the old ones on ESPN Classic the new version isn't that much chessier then the old one. I think it was a pretty good remake/update of the old one.

Man, I actually got a bit into this show... but as soon as they moved to 1 1/2 hour shows I was done. The pacing was bad enough for an hour, but add even more lame backstory and stupid one liners and I was done.
If I had been more planful I would have just DVR'd them, but I really was annoyed and put off by the extra half hour of fluff

Yeah like I said the female doesn't seem to be a big treat , but the guy in some events if you draw him you could be screwed. Like the wall he is going to be all over most the contestants in no time unless they are hard core climber like himself, or hand tough where has some quickness up on the rings. His pure quickness could be a good change of pace in some events opposed to brute strength.
On a side note you know what would be fun to see is the Gladiators do the eliminator and see how fast they can go.
