Nothing was on, so I watched the whole episode tonight. It wasn't as terrible as I felt... but the constant interviews of the lame contestants is annoying, don't think they did that as much on the original show.

Still it was better than Deal or No Deal, but still pretty weak. Why can't I have Cavemen back :monkey2:monkey2

I had a second viewing last night. If you would remove the Hulk and the interviews. You may have something. I recorded it and watched it without and it was quite nice. The only other thing that bugs me is the Tao guy and his mumbo jumbo before he competes. :monkey4

" he was a little slippery.... but it was just like catching pigs back on the farm! .."

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Taoni is a friend of my buddy's and when I see him again I'm going to tell him that. Man I hope he doesn't kill me.

Re: Titan is Superman

Good catch!!! That's where I have seen him before. I love The World's Finest trailer, and I thought he did a really good job. He along with Wolf were my favorite gladiators.

Mike O'Hearn (Titan)played Superman in the fan trailer for Worlds Finest! Check this out George Miller

TV sucks crap. When was the last time TV was considered decent or worthwhile?

when was the last time staring at a moving picture box was worthwhile as opposed to doing something constructive? .... Id have to say the answer is never.. :monkey1

I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about Miltia, he did gay porn:yuck:yuck.

Take it you're not a fan of the samoain dances.

Actually they are pretty cool in the right context. Me and my wife love to watch various types of Polynesian dances. I like the whole point behind them. To watch somone pound his chest and yell it out at a sporting event is kinda lame.

Completely agree... remove the interviews (or at least limit them) and less theatrics from the gladiators and it would be 110% better.

I actually recorded the first night, I'll have to watch it sans dumb stuff and see how it feels. I was impressed by the eliminator though... its still no Ninja Warrior, but it does look pretty grueling.

yea, how pathetic were the guys. they were gassed after only 2 minutes and couldn't run up the treadmill thing, that's pathetic. just put on the jets for 10 seconds and run up the ramp.

I have a theory on the treadmill at the end.

Unless big people take smaller steps up the treadmill, they will be worse than smaller people.

The longer your stride, the further your back leg will be pulled back, making it more difficult to progress as well as make balance more difficult.

The key is to take many short, quick steps, maintaining centered while making progress.
