Unfortunately if people keep watching dancing with the stars and american idol this is what we are going to get.

Really? You thought it was good? I made it through about 5 minutes and turned it off. AG was a fun and perfect fit for the late 80's, but making it now is pretty dumb. Also, the lame/semi-sad backstory about a divorced single mom was irritating, it was too much like a reality TV show.

Also, for the one event I saw (the first one with the balls) they actually made it easier than the old show by having larger openings... lame.

Agree. The cheese factor is just way too much.....

I think if they would have handled it more like a sporting event it would have been better. Also the cheesey growls and flexing in front of the camera was really lame. especially the wolf guy.

Agree 110%! It is not supposed to be taken as a serious athletic event/competition.

Yeah she is supposedly a kick a$$ kick boxer and proffesional fighter. That is kinda scary but I think I would have to risk it.

I thought it was pretty lame...the contestants with lame backstories, lame gladiators (especially the guys). Even the girls were a bit cheesy...that Fury looked like a man!

We watched the first show and I was purely disappointed. The swinging ball stunt was stupid...the contestants sucked at it. The pyramid is lame. The stupid platform on ropes...man, you would think they could have come up with more interesting games.

This show was meant for the 80s...it should have stayed there.

It is shows like these that are getting interesting TV like Vanished, Invasion, Surface and Journeyman cancelled.

It is so much cheaper for networks and production companies to make reality TV instead of quality serials...pretty sad! Personally, I hope this shows tanks for that very reason!

Yea that was a bit annoying, but look at the source...Hulk probably doesnt know that many words so your gonna get alot of the same form him

I watched tonights, it cool they have mostly the same events. The Hulk makes it cheesier then before but still entertaining.

Man I wish I was in the shape I was when the first one was on. I remember that Tank who came in to the show later was training on rock climbing at the climbing gym I went to. That was the one event I wanted to go up against them in since I would have smoked them back then.

Totally agree. We don't need to hear from the contestants before and after every single event. Once during their intros and again after the Eliminator is enough.
